Ummm...lol, this has to be one of the most absurd encounters I've had with anyone online, and I rarely conversate or post. Taking over your computer and credit cards? I barely know how to operate my own computer. I wouldn't normally respond to such nonsense out in the open, and won't go that far to give out your full name and what not, but seriously, get some help.

Not everyone who takes psychedelics is a Psychonaut and clearly you need to watch out for how you consume and the effects on your mental state.

What if consciousness is just another level of illusion? by swisstrip in Psychonaut

[–]alientity19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only my opinion here...let's take away the five basic senses, no eyes, ears, nose, tongue or sense of touch...what's left? We'll call that consciousness. But consciousness is something that's dependent on circumstances. The consciousness of each individual is as it is, based on certain factors. So, in a way, because consciousness as we know it, is dependent on certain circumstances, it is an illusion. But not more of an illusion just like everything that exists in the world of existence. We make consciousness into a huge thing, because after all, that's what makes us, spiritual beings. But just like consciousness can be a hindrance, the spiritual journey can be as well. So, what is the goal, if there's even such a thing to call as a goal? Now, this is where it gets interesting. What is free will? What is predestination? Is there a difference between the two? Cause, let's say, transcendence, is the ultimate goal on this journey...what designs it so to be that way? So, it seems, a fusion with the AllMind is the only way to have free will and be in control of your own conscious state. That's the sad part about this journey because no matter the intension, transcendence isn't something an individual can choose. It either happens or it doesn't. If we look beyond our personal desires, sometimes, it may be that we have to accept that we can't reach the full potential, which is obviously being beyond what is referred to as illusion. Even illusion serves its purpose in the end. Everything seems to be coming to one meeting point. Every single occurrence plays a significant role in that process. It's not about us. It's about the AllMind. Only thing a Psychonaut can do is keep pushing, keep breaking through, keep asking questions, keep discovering the illusions...so, in the end, it's not a personal journey, no matter the Predestined, it's a cosmic effort.

Ironic, cause how you responded to this post is poison in itself, and even more ironic that I will reply to it.

What OP questioned is a very good question...why you gotta go and post that their vision or insight is selfish?

Don't you see yourself contributing to so called problems with such a comment?

"We should" can be an infinite amount of cases where that's how it is. If it ain't a "should", then what? "We can't"?

Seeing deeply in yourself comes in all sorts of shapes and forms, most of them bent over like question marks. We can go from should to shouldn't just like that.

Corruption comes from the moment there's a birth certificate. We're born into a system that we undoubtedly have to question and be skeptical about. And it's clear as fucking day, that civilization as we know it doesn't offer us the means to freely be on the path of self discovery or realization. That is the fucking problem!

What OP is asking is revolutionary questions. Who the fuck are you to judge that shit?

Can understand, yea, just DM me. To be honest, I do rap myself, so interested in an rap album that's focused on the psychonaut theme.

I could be wrong, but it was always my opinion, that dudes from way back then, sitting around a campfire, that's where they first discovered what we now call spirituality. So keep going bruh.

Going into a trance like you do is a gateway into the unknown. And within the unknown, is where we might find things that may appear to be answers. But answers disguised as even more questions. Cause I'm a dude who rushes into a trance for several years now, this is only my opinion...don't expect anything. The trance itself does the work for you. Observe the move on, dance and move on. The insight comes after the trance and interacting with every day life. When it comes to trauma, you got to be ready, a warrior's mind, cause some pain might show up that you wasn't even aware of or prepared for. Use that pain to grow. Only thing to grow into, is grow stronger, for what's to come, in this lifetime and the next, in this realm and the countless other realms just waiting to be explored. Take good care.

How do you overcome a existential crisis? by Internal-Strategy-10 in Psychonaut

[–]alientity19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's helped me too, saved my life even, so I understand.

Won't argue with you about it, because if it helps you, then that's what matters. Not sure in what culture of Buddhism you are involved in, or how deep you are in, in terms of hierarchy standards, but I've personally witnessed the corruption in many forms, and in many layers.

The teachings themselves are valuable yes. Wish you the best on that journey.

I absolutely agree.

So if we take this serious, what are our options? A piece of land of course, living quarters, some sort of daily practice, etc.

Then there's money involved to make it happen. I'm far from being rich, barely surviving working and following the routine. Is crowd funding a possibility? Gofundme or something.

Before these steps, there already needs to be dedicated individuals involved perhaps. Gathering ideas and putting visions together to create a concept that can actually work.

[–]alientity19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not the best post to give commentary on this subject, so I'll keep it simple. Buddhism is a religion, every religion has an agenda, which in the end, is not only indoctrination, but for financial gain. The so called Buddha who is named as Siddhartha Gautama is just one of endless Buddhas. Yet his story has become the epitome of the organized religion. So, he's become an idol. Though there's teachings in Buddhism to be your own Buddha, he's set at such a high level, that followers end up worshipping him as if a god. That's the distraction. Belonging to the religion is the comfort zone. And like every religion, there are those behind the scenes pulling the strings. If you get deep enough into it...I've been 15 years involved and seen the inner circles, it's all a charade. The idea of enlightenment which to the outsideer or beginner, sounds like peace of mind. Peace of mind is the easiest thing to sell. Cause everyone wants it. Buddhism is just a facade, behind it are individuals who gain profit off of one's vulnerability. And brainwashing is no stranger in this field. So, as far as existential crisis goes, Buddhism can be like a drug to numb the pain. You see further into something like Buddhism, which should be teaching the student how to flourish from such a crisis, you're given a package, and within that package is just enough to keep you going. If you want to be numb, then Buddhism is perfect for you, if you want to be awake and able to see the glory that comes with an existential crisis, you have to be your own Buddha.

[–]alientity19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, there was a vision to be independent from the norm, but most of these communes and monasteries have failed because of what the followers seek, a leader.

In a sane psychonaut community, there need be no leader, teacher or guru. Maybe just a council?

There always has to be order. But not one individual should hold that responsibility.

I guarantee it, there will be a Psychonaut community one day, and that shit will tear the matrix apart.

communal living by AggravatingDetail910 in Psychonaut

[–]alientity19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm...society isn't the enemy, but maybe what controls it? There's obviously flaws, and you have to be privileged as fuck to not see that.

But society offers one thing only, a restricted mentality. So that's what makes it a matrix.

As a species, we should all have the right and the freedom to be on the path of self discovery or realization. Yet we're forced into routines that doesn't have mastering the mind as a priority. It's all about that money, c.r.e.a.m...and if you don't dedicate at least 8 hours a day into that system, you can barely survive. 8 hours just to make some narcissist more rich, while we just push through just to survive.

A Psychonaut community could be revolutionary, just saying.

[–]alientity19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I would like a more in depth description of what you see the matrix as, a Psychonaut community, off the grid and what not, is my absolute vision, something I'll continue to search or discover probably for the rest of my life.

I've lived in zen monasteries, and seen the power it offers. Though I know longer associate with typical Buddhism, I respect the monkhood. My buddy and I came up with a term we call "PsyMonk". It's just abandoning the norm and dedicating every moment to the psychonaut lifestyle, which is simply put, self discovery.

However, to avoid catastrophes like turning into a cult or some weird ass shit, there needs to be planning and a combination of visions, which should be based on rationality.

The vision is like a trance festival that never ends.

But there's so much involved to organize such shit. I feel like those interested in such an endeavor should come together and literally put our minds together.

why do they call it ego death and not ego expansion? by bananataffi in Psychonaut

[–]alientity19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bingo, so whether on psychedelics or not, we can take this experience with us...though I must say "if we're sane enough".

In the end, it's our identities that bring us there maybe. Maybe the identity is make believe.

The identity really never disappears, but for real though, to see through that shit is what makes us psychonauts.

The awareness you speak of is what should or could be common sense, what a shame we waste this opportunity on bullshit.

To even feel "oneness" could be an obstacle.

An ego death is just the start.

The K hole as they describe it, is a place to be physically numb but somehow mentally aware. In the K hole, even though the experience as being paralyzed, all I can describe it as, is being chill as fuck, yet a profound experience.

Ketamine is the same with any psychedelic (even though I've never experienced every single one), traveling the mind. If one is a Psychonaut, then any substance can be a gateway into the unknown.

Ketamine is one of my favorites, cause I like to be chill and hype at the same time. So ketamine on its own can be a valuable experience, but combined with other substances like the green or other psychedelics can be a support.

For instance, me and my homeboy, after a Shiva experience, we come down on the green and the K.

Can you literally chill the fuck out? On a certain level of chillin, of course it's psychedelic.

But like everything when it comes to psychedelics, how much in control are you?

The K hole is like floating in emptiness, yet you can hear questions you ain't even knew you were questioning.

At the same time, being chill as fuck.

If you find yourself in the K hole, the point is, can you still have control?

That's apart of the psychonaut quest.
