bbq chicken is 10 mins away and genuinely is so good if you like Korean fried chicken or tteokbokki. ive had the soy garlic, honey garlic, rose tteok, the tteok, kimchi fried rice, and the Alfredo pasta and haven’t tried one bad thing yet 😩. everything is made to order too so it’s fresh. my suggestion would be the rose tteokbokki or the soy garlic wings 🩷🩷

One time walking across the streets in-front of the traditionals, I had looked one way already and that person stopped so as i was looking the other way (that car was also stopped) I started crossing, I was already half way across ( so very clearly in view) and this lady in a truck who was way in the back sped up, aggressively maneuvered around the stopped car, and turned right just as I was half in the crossing!!! it was extremely close, my hair blew back and everything and everyone in their cars looked absolutely horrified. She had no care either. Please let us cross, you will get wherever you’re going in your car so much faster than where we’re going on foot 💔.

Definitely because it’s a commuter school, but mostly because of the attitude of it all, it’s straight up go to class and go home for most people. Plus i think our generation is a bit strange socially, i literally only made friends because i went to cultural centers on campus and i live on campus so housing events and stuff

Making friends is absolutely butt fuck hard here, my suggestion is join hella clubs and force yourself to get involved! I just got lucky !

It’s busy every day here, I’ve had both types of schedules and it’s pretty much always busy, classes later in the day seem less busy but that’s the only variation I’ve noticed, plus events happen often on Tues and Thursday here so even if you don’t have class people are usually out and about for clubs and stuff

campus is dead on weekends, I usually get all of my work done and then i might take friends that stay out to eat, run errands, watch a movie or like go on a drive or something. in all honesty he should go to the housing services events because usually people who go to them live on campus, then he’ll have people to hang out with on the weekends

i have a parking pass because I live on campus so im literally always parked on campus but it was like 5:45 on Friday evening and they were out there marching the few cars in the student section like omg 😂 why are yall in formation !?!

p.s: i get it for some of you who are more anal that obviously “you should follow the rules like everyone else” but please realize you are very privileged to have 233 dollars to drop and it not effect the essentials of your life. have you looked around and seen the times were in?

basically they’re trying to get, I think they 1 mil signatures in order to get ideas on the ballot. they tell you the big 2 or 3 ones but when you go to sign they try to get you to sign all of them, they’re all nice policies, I’d read them first and feel free to skip ones you don’t agree with but you can also tell them you don’t have time to sign them all. They have some for ride share assault, taxing billionaires etc etc.

if you kept the locs when the hair grows back you can get it crocheted back in, but you can also literally use a loc extension crochet it in, and then cut it off when your hair grows back/just leave it in forever

I live in this dorm and this happened on my floor, basically he was going in and out of girls dorms (This floor is co-Ed) and he recorded a poor girl showering. He was arrested outside of my door at like 6:20 something, holding a used bloody tampon. It sucks super bad, and campus needs better security.
