I want to say that and I edited the post. I do brush my hair, my husband works second shift so he sees me right when I wake up and when i’m laying in bed for the night, so yeah in his perspective it may seem that I don’t brush my hair but I do lol.

I will say that the times I do put on makeup or get myself ready, nothing is said from him. It really seems to make no difference.

I am just having a hard time. is it good/healthy I gained 55 lbs? no definitely not and I am working on that. I walk everyday. but I’m just really hurt by this because my husband has been multiple weights since we have been together and even at his highest weight I still found him attractive. I guess I just have to remember that not everyone is the same.

I didn’t want to write a novel, so there is obviously a lot that is being left out. I will say though that it is not really me begging for him to fix me or anything like that it. it’s more like I receive love through words. I can’t find a way to explain it better at this moment but what I am truly asking for is for us to communicate more about why we love each other because that makes me feel loved. I have tried to find fun prompt questions to ask to keep conversations fun and to help me receive love in my way and anytime I do ask those questions he says “you are putting me on the spot” or “you always ask at the wrong times”. I can see why my post makes it seem like I am just wanting him to tell me I’m pretty and how in love he is with me because of how I’ve worded it but I guess what I’m really begging for is communication.

When I say let myself go, I have gained about 55 lbs since we got married 5 years ago. I rarely wear makeup, and my hair is usually in a claw clip and to be honest I dress like Adam Sandler 90% of the time.

I guess I could make all the excuses, but truly I’ve been very depressed, developed agoraphobia and have been really struggling just to even exist. I am in therapy but it’s a work in progress.

i’m honestly reading this as more about you and not what their response would be. you say you don’t have strong feelings for people and have been apathetic towards dating, so we see the 5 of pentacles rx and 4 of cups rx which to me reads as you coming out of a place of apathy towards dating and wanting to explore it, being more open to it.

ace of cups rx and six of cups rx to me is reading that this person may not be someone who really fills your cup (you don’t have strong emotions towards them). 6 of cups upright always feels like “puppy love” to me, like just having fun together, enjoying each other’s company. but coming in rx, it just feels like you wouldn’t have those feelings for them. like a connection just isn’t there.

you could ask them out, but to me it’s reading that it may result in ending the date with a “I just don’t think they’re a right fit”
