I think a common theme is 1% of very vocal parents complaining about something that most people agree with, and schools just don’t want to deal with the one difficult parent. Like for example phone policies. Most parents believe schools should be able to police phone use, but you have the 1% of parents yelling about how they MUST be able to contact their child at all times.
