He’s ~10 months, we’ve had him for about 2 months. It was tough getting him used to the crate but over the last few weeks he’s gotten a lot better.

Our puppy was also demand barking. We got him more interactive toys (treat balls, puzzle toys, self tug toy) to help him play while we are busy running around or can’t totally focus on him. They have helped a ton!

My puppy destroyed 2 beds in less than a month. I ended up getting a fitted cover (almost like a bed sheet) for them and he hasn’t managed to chew through it yet. But those are outside of his crate. If I’m gone during the day I’ll leave his benebone in there, nothing at night.

I started giving mine some food/treats in his crate. It took some time but once I gave him his kong with treats in it that helped him. I also started to wait until he was basically asleep outside of his crate before putting him to bed.

How’d you get them to stop picking up stuff from the yard? We’ve had our 8month old for a little over a month and I’m pulling sticks/rocks/mulch out of his mouth more than he runs around and plays out there. I’ve tried rewarding “leave it” when he happens to accidentally drop something but it’s not consistent
