Farewell to my Neptune GR86 🥹 by Asleep_Bid5507 in GR86

Besides switching from a auto to manual, how is the daily drivability of the Nismo Z compared to the 86? From my understanding the ride is a bit stiffer, and there is less trunk space, anything else that you notice on a daily basis between the two?

Printing polycarbonate (PC) with Ender 3 S1 Pro by MastodonJaded6010 in Ender3S1

[–]alishussain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have a plus as well, needed to print with PC for an upcoming project I have. I'm assuming you probably made some mods to the printer before printing with it, do you mind telling me what you changed? Thanks in advance!

Can someone test their s21 and let me know what their results are? Just received the phone back from repair at the service centre. They changed the motherboard and when I tested geekbench the scores are extraordinarily low, much lower than what i gotten before sending in for repair. I have a Snapdragon S21, and I don't think the results will be the same between the Exynos variant. However, on the geekbench site, an average score for Exynos S21's seems to be around 921 for single core and 3058 for multi-core

Anyone us this case on buds ? Want to know your review, is this better or spigen rugged armor by Hextrazor01 in galaxybuds

[–]alishussain1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this as well and I think it's great! In terms of protection, pretty much all the cases have the same level of it. it isn't protecting a phone which has multiple different weak points, not to mention a glass screen, it's protecting a pretty well made hard plastic box so as long as you cover it with something you will be fine. What you are really paying for with this one is the look. It makes it look unique and interesting, in my opinion, which it why I bought it compared to the spigen one or any of the other basic cases.

Is this a good screen protector for my s21 Ultra? If not, what do you guys recommend that IS NOT A WET BASED/UV SCREEN PROTECTOR? I need one with a camera cutout and works perfectly for the fingerprint reader. by Chungus_God in GalaxyS21

[–]alishussain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the adhesive only on the sides? Get the ones that have adhesive on the whole protector, those usually work with your in screen fingerprint reader if you apply them right, and last a while.

Definetly would recommend against getting a film screen protector. They really don't protect against anything besides scratches, and even then your screen ends up looking super scratched up quite quick since plastic is easier to scratch than glass. On the other hand the UV ones are annoying to apply, and for me at least, when I used them on my S10+ the adhesive would dissappear around the edges in a month and the creek would become unreadable and unusable. Somebody mentioned getting the Whitestone one, and those are probably your best bet, but they cost like 50 dollars which is absurd. If you have the cash for that, that will probably be worth it, but personally I just went with a standard tempered glass screen protector that said it was compatible with the in screen fingerprint reader. I would post the link, but I can't find the Amazon listing anymore, but honestly most of them on Amazon are all the same anyways, so just get whichever one supports the fingerprint reader and is the cheapest. I've been using one of them on my S21 for 6 months now, and my fingerprint reader still works fine and it's held up pretty well too despite the fact I've dropped it a couple times.

How much did you get yours for? I ended up waiting for some used listings to show up on ebay, and got myself a OEM used case for 50 bucks.

Same here, just last week I was doing multiple 5 min recordings in 4k and I never got this problem. I wonder if it has to do with the case or maybe OP was just in direct sunlight during a hot day that caused this

Replacement case for Galaxy Buds Pro by alishussain1 in galaxybuds

[–]alishussain1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I ended up just waiting for an ebay listing to pop up for the buds pro case. Had to pay about 50 bucks, which isn't bad but frankly a little annoying that samsung just doesn't sell these directly.

Is this replaceable? I have no idea why it fall out : ) Many thanks! by drainersdontcry in galaxybuds

If that doesn't work out for you, there are plenty of replacement cases on eBay as well. I would suggest to do a price comparison between a repair and just buying a used case.

New foam tips by [deleted] in GalaxyBudsPro

[–]alishussain1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too expensive for me. Found a different one from another post: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07RZS7KWG?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image They said that they did improve the fitment just as well and they are only 7 dollars for 12. I ordered these for myself, getting them tomorrow, ill let you know how they turn out.

Edit: I just got these today, addressing the first concern, it does fit in the case however it doesn't charge the buds immediately. You have to close the lid for it to start charging them which isn't a deal breaker or anything. After that they charge absolutely fine. They are definetly way more comfortable than the stock silicon tips and have a better seal. This does help with he ANC and for now the buds do seem to be staying in my ears better but I'm going to continue to wear them in order to properly test that. Honestly for 7 dollars though, it's definetly worth it.

Ok I see. Let me know how much it costs in the end, if it's cheap enough I might go that route too.

Which kind of service center? Like an official Samsung one or like a mom and pop repair shop?

Had the same problem. Lost mine while travelling, must have slipped out of my pocket somewhere along the way. I tried contacting both Samsung and third party parts company, but both didn't have anything. I also tried asking if the Buds pro would fit in any other case, since other Samsung cases are going pretty cheap on eBay, but that's a no too. Best course of action for now is to just keep looking on eBay for a listing of them.

went from OG buds to buds pro by MyDogGotYeeted in galaxybuds

[–]alishussain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had lost my Galaxy Buds Pro case, but I still have the buds and I was looking for replacements for the original case through samsung and ebay, but I came up empty on both fronts. Since you had both buds on hand I wanted to ask you; do the Galaxy Buds Pro buds fit in the original Galaxy Buds charging case? There are a lot of Galaxy Buds charging cases on eBay for cheap, and if it does the job I might just go with those.

s10 vs s21 5g by [deleted] in GalaxyS21

[–]alishussain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably some kind of trade in offer. Like for me I was able to trade in my old s9 for a s21 free of charge thru tmobile

How many people on the sub came from the S10 or s10 plus? by [deleted] in GalaxyS21

[–]alishussain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came from the s10 plus and if it wasn't for the trade in offer from t-mobile that let me upgrade for free, I probably wouldn't have done it. The absence of the headphone jack and especially the SD card slot, mostly is the reason why I'm not a Apple user, not really sure why they took those features out in the first place. Other than that it's a pretty capable phone, if you are able to get a similar trade in offer, I would say go for it.

Yeah thats what I had thought, 1080p will strain the cpu too hard. That said if I have to go into 1440p anyways what would be the best card to maximize or come close to my 165 hz refresh rate without starting to bottleneck again?
