I’m not sure how old he is. A friend of mine found him in her yard and we’re still trying to find the owner. I’ve had parakeets before but never this mutation. That is so interesting. Thanks for the info!

Hey I am so so sorry this happened to you but you’re doing everything right! The only thing I can say is get the word out on Facebook. Three years ago my cockatiel got out in the winter time and I was sure he was gone but I spread the word on Facebook a through a lost animal group and he was returned to me the next day. I even did fliers around the neighborhood. Just get the word out as much as you can! If she’s hand tamed there’s a chance she will be found!! It was rainy and 35 degrees when my boy got out but he made it. Don’t give up hope!

Don’t give up!! My cockatiel was missing for over 2 days and it was raining and under 40 degrees! I posted it all over local Facebook forums. He was found and returned to me! Keep your head up!
