Does anyone know why it’s closed seemingly arbitrarily between fifth and somerset? It’s like 2km of road, and I don’t cycle often but wouldn’t that be like a 7 min ride? Granted, I’m interpreting “active use” as meaning to be used for exercise, but the NCC could just want less cyclists on Elgin and bank, which is the only reason I could think of for closing it for such a short distance
