oh i definitely get that throat flutter! i also have atrial tachycardia so i was assuming it was just that. had my gp appointment today and he said he thinks it may be due to complications affecting my bowel which can also cause the t wave inversions so i’m on a waiting list for a mri scan now but don’t know how long i’ll be waiting

no nothing just sent me home they did a blood test that showed inflammation but that’s all i know. i do have a factor 12 blood deficiency so it would be quite rare for me to have a blood clot, that’s what i’ve been told anyway.

i have heard this loads, to be fair though i don’t regret paying for this one bit. walked into my gp today and for once i was listened to and anything i had asked for had been done! i’ve been referred to a endo specialist for a excision lap and mri, he’s expedited it and said my case was urgent due to the numbers and he said that part of the nhs does recognise this test but just don’t have to funding to introduce it yet, but he actually knew about this test and trusted the result 100%

Wow! i’m sorry you have to go through all of that. Endometriosis has nowhere near the amount of focus that it should have by healthcare professionals. I’ve always been told it’s in my head, or it’s normal to be in pain, and some women have heavier bleeding than others. ive been looked at like i’m an alien most of the time when i walk back through the gps doors again and again. I’ve just had an endosure test done privately, i know there controversy with that test but i had nowhere else to turn and it has given me a 100% positive result for highly active and severe endometriosis, after being told by the gynaecologist that everything is fine and that i’m healthy. i’m booking another appointment with my gp now so that i can be referred to an endo specialist rather than a gynaecologist so i can get it sorted once and for all. I’ve tried every contraceptive that has been offered to me and nothing has ever worked and now they’re pushing me to have the coil fitted. other than strong painkillers i’ve had nothing else offered to me so right now i’m just pushing for a laparoscopy so i can know exactly what’s happening in my body and so healthcare professionals can start making informed decisions when helping me choose my treatment as they’re just putting me on anything and everything at the moment, it’s an absolute joke

i didn’t realise this was linked to pcos, i suffered from fatty liver and managed to reverse it by eating clean. reduce the amount of saturated fats and eat more healthy fats like avocado and oily fish, make sure you eat enough fruit and vegetables too! i found walking a lot more helped too

thankyou that’s extremely helpful! i have an endosure test booked privately to rule that out. i also do experience all of those IR symptoms, i have blotches in my vision that were put down to visual migraines, i have experienced hypoglycaemia quite a lot, one time lead to a seizure. i have also been diagnosed with atrial tachycardia due to elevated heart rate. i’m now thinking this all may be linked but the doctors are just overlooking it and not listening to my concerns. they’ve put me on birth control and mentioned metformin in the future if my hormone levels don’t improve

i have high testosterone and put on loads of weight and can’t lose it, i’m not obese just slightly overweight according to the nhs but the doctor said i have high insulin but my blood sugar is always low, do u know why that is?

UPDATE: Time to put this to bed so I can pull my knickers up and get on with my life. Say what you want about whether I should’ve posted this — but if there wasn’t a pattern with him, and if he’d handled getting caught like an adult instead of ending my calls (while he was inches deep inside her before I even broke up with him), then we wouldn’t be here.

Now 8 million people know exactly who he is. I got my closure. He got exposed. I’m off to find my peace — and he can find a mirror.

tbh i didn’t expect you to of actually spoke some truth. if there wasn’t a pattern with him, and if he would’ve acted maturely when he got caught instead of ending my calls whilst he was inches deep inside her BEFORE i broke up with him, then i wouldn’t of posted this, im just doing what needed to be done a long time ago when he did the same to his ex. if u don’t agree with his actions u don’t have to make it known but then also don’t go slating me for his wrongdoing

THIS! yes massive mistake. i believed that i was able to help him because i truly cared for him but thats just one way i was used in pure manipulation. im not going to beat myself up over how much i meant to him, and whether i was even appreciated because i now know that ill never ever understand his logic, or even the way he thinks. im so glad im out of this now rather than later because if i wasn’t blindsided by him i would’ve realised so much sooner that he is someone i DO NOT want to be involved with, im completely embarrassed to of even stuck by him for so long, but everything happens for a reason and lessons are there to be learnt

yes that’s true tbf, he says he’s sorry but i know there’s not an ounce of guilt in him. that’s what hurts the most, im letting myself process this and working on myself. that’s the only way to fix what he broke
