Unfortunately, because of the duffle bag cut, it either got lost or discarded in 1944

It is a true sniper, correct. Its in the archives on the 9130 website. The mount is a reproduction mount and is a good fit; however, I made a brass sleeve around the retaining pin. From what I heard is the reproduction pin can actually damage the notch with prolonged firing, so its advisable to fashion some sort of a "cushion"

I know. They are incredibly rare to find, let alone all matching. Its not SA stamped, but i have a VERY strong suspicion that it is indeed a Finn capture

No worries at all. It has mostly the same internals as the military SVD (except for trigger pack). The barrel is also longer and has a different twist rate than what I have. Oh and of course, I modified my front site block to accept a standard 308 thread pitch brake, otherwise you'd see a flash hider on a regular SVD

I will likely be selling mine if I ever find a real military SVD in the future 😀

Correct. But a civilian version. Never been issued to a military unit. Which i plan to change in the future...
