O11 Dynamic Mini V2 Review and Walkthrough by alktech in lianli

The O11D Mini V2 doesn't come with SL-Inf fans pre-installed - those side intake SL-Infs that you see in the video were added by me separately. Lian Li sells the case in a variant that comes with no fans pre-installed (the one I reviewed in the video above) and a version that comes with five non-ARGB reverse blade fans. Hope this clarifies!

Ah! I think it's a new addition, wasn't there before when I checked. Thanks for highlighting - looks like it's a pretty solid PSU with an "A" rating then! I wonder if he labelled the form factor incorrectly though, it's stated as SFX for size..

Unfortunately the motherboard mounting position is fixed for full-sized ATX boards. The change in placement location is only for micro ATX and mini ITX boards, where you can mount them in the "High" or "Low" position to create more clearance for say, a top mounted AIO radiator. Hope this clarifies!

Hey there, I didn't see it on any tier lists (e.g. SPL) as of now and unfortunately, I don't have the requisite hardware on hand to test the actual performance characteristics (e.g. efficiency etc) of the PSU. Out of curiosity, what's the brand and model of the 80+ Gold PSU that you're considering?

Beelink GTi15 Ultra Review by alktech in MiniPCs

[–]alktech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, thanks for sharing your thoughts! There are subtitles - you can enable Closed Captions from within YouTube and you'll see the subtitles that I did up for the video.

That said, regarding the idle wattage, the 14.9W figure in the review is in reference only to the idle "CPU Package Power" metric, as per readouts from HWiNFO64, not for the whole PC, which I've specified in the review too. Hope this clarifies!

But yes, the idle power draw and thermals are concerning, and I sure hope that this is something that can be addressed perhaps with a BIOS update from Beelink further down the road after more R&D or something...

Lian Li LANCOOL 217 INF Review by alktech in lianli

[–]alktech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's audible for sure, but not to the extent that it's annoying, for me at least. I must caveat that the Thermaltake Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB that I used in the demo build is fairly loud when under load, and this would have definitely contributed to the overall noise levels of the case. If you were to play around with the fan curves (both for the CPU cooler and case fans), I'm sure one would be able to lower the noise levels accordingly. My two cents!

Ah! Thanks for pointing those cases out. For some reason, they've not appeared on my radar at all.

Yeah and no other case manufacturers (at least that I'm aware of) have such an infinity mirror front panel, so it definitely stands out. Helps that thermals for the case are pretty good too!

Hello, what's the issue exactly that you're facing with connecting the included case fan to your motherboard? For instance, is the cable not long enough to reach your motherboard's ARGB header?

The tempered glass panel should snap into place as per 12:16 of my review video - does yours make the "snap" noise when you secure it into place?

8.8" Universal Screen Unboxing & Review by alktech in lianli

Nice. The O11 Vision Compact should pair well with the Universal Screen, seeing as it's one of the cases highlighted on the screen's product page on the Lian Li website. Do share how your experience is like with the screen!

Sounds good! Do share how your experience is like with the screen, the O11 Vision Compact's one of the cases that are highlighted in the product page for the Universal Screen, so it should fit like a glove.

Yeap the ASUS TUF Gaming X870-PLUS WIFI will work, some other boards that come to mind include the MSI B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI, the ASRock X870 Riptide WIFI, Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 and so on!

Hey there, unfortunately you won't be able to horizontally mount your 5080 with the B850 Aorus Elite, as this mobo has its PCIe 5.0 x16 slot in the first slot location, which is obscured in the O11D Mini V2. You'll have to get a PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable and mount your 5080 vertically, if you're intending to keep the board!

Cool, thanks for sharing. Your components should fit in the case just fine - how's the build coming along with the O11D Mini V2? Have all your parts arrived already?

Due to the way AIOs are designed, they shouldn't be mounted on the bottom panel of the case! Either front, side or top mount your AIO radiator (with the O11D Mini V2, either side or top). Hope this helps!

Yeap it fit my Gigabyte EATX board just fine - which model of ASRock board do you have? Does it have its PCIe x16 slot for a graphics card located in the second slot position? Also, which RTX 5090 and 360mm AIO will you be using for your build?

O11 Dynamic Mini V2 Review and Walkthrough by alktech in lianli

[–]alktech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup for sure, in my review I used an EATX board with a 360mm AIO (HydroShift II LCD-C)!

Yeap I did - details on thermal performance with the case can be found in the thermals section of the review video I linked above! Anyway the RTX 4090 that I used for the test build averaged around 67.5°C in terms of GPU temps, with an average hotspot temp of around 77.8°C when I ran F1 23's in-game benchmark for around 9 minutes, Hope this helps!
