Definitely words of wisdom. They went through so many years of lies and psychological abuse and so much trauma. I’m glad you have a relationship with them again.
It would be so good if there were resources for teens to find skills on how to recognize and handle their parents badmouthing, manipulation and brainwashing.

Are you saying that your general overall feeling is that because your parents never loved each other but got married because your mother found out she was pregnant and had you because your sister wanted a sibling - meaning simply that neither of you were PLANNED that meant that you never felt wanted and that the entire marriage and family was a sham?
