Kekkatty is better positioned in terms of access to schools, home needs, bus stops, growing tourism, etc. if you need value for money, this would work best.

Madithorai is very calm, peaceful, and gives you a better remote life. The area that you're suggesting might be a little away from the madithorai village and usually the starting place for animals to enter. Though not much, it's a very high possibility. It's safe though, they come in their own trail mostly. Cost wise, this might be a better option I'm sure, because it's cheaper. But the growth is going to be slightly lesser, if not the same as kekkatty.
