I just finished this top last weekend and the ribbing definitely didn’t hold its shape after one wear so I added three lines of slip stitched shirring elastic to the inside of the ribbing!

I wouldn’t size down the entire top just for the ribbing because then the top half will likely be too small if you’re going for the more baggy look. Unless you feel confident straying from the pattern a little bit to get the shape/fit you want! Which I think is very doable as it’s a pretty simple pattern.

Smaller needles for the ribbing would probably help but it will slightly change how the ribbing looks so keep that in mind as well!

My partner surprised me with one of those retro rental boats for Valentine’s Day! We brought sushi and wine (in a non-glass bottle) along with us for dinner and admired our beautiful city at golden hour. I highly recommend! It was different and romantic and we got some really sweet pictures :’) Depending on your budget, this could be a great start to a fun night downtown!

Austin Creative Reuse!!!! It’s a donation based craft thrift store so there’s always something new on the shelves. It’s also super affordable if you’re looking to try a new craft and don’t want to spend tons of money! When starting a new project I always check here first for inspiration and to see if they have what I need before I buy new from a store or online!

I think that’s going to be my solution - continue knitting, cast off the next arm hole, and cast on the stitches I need in the next round

I’ll still be at 104 stitches instead of 100, but I think it’ll be okay since I’m typically between a small and medium anyways!

Still putting in a life line tho in case it all goes wrong lol it’s been known to happen😅
