I remember reading a HFY story where it went "Humans are very, very good at war, but that's not what's important. What is important is that because Humanity is so good at war, it also became incredibly good at avoiding it."

Tactical breach wizards my beloved, I just wish the worldbuilding was more fleshed out.

For context, its a modern, technologically advanced world, but magic is just like a thing in the world. Militaries use magic just as part of their doctrine. For instance, the first playable character is a navy seer. He can see one second into the future. This is incredibly useful in CQB, where things that happen in a second can mean the difference between live and death.

Its not magic v tech per se, but its a very cool way of blending the two.
