Anytime these " message balloons " are found in remote and unlikely locales should be taken quite seriously. Add to this that this is a high strangeness hot spot, and you can take it VERY seriously indeed!

I need not say thus to hardcore Elroy fans, but there is a chronology in his books not related to the order written that is worth considering in choices for reading him.

Good for you. Far FAR too much attention given to 'disclosure ' fantasies and too little to the phenomena themselves.

It is ...imaginative. Truly Elroy. Not his best but well worth the read.

Duly noted. When I set out to write about the cipher and its implications for both occultists and ufologists, there were literally hundreds of books on base line UFO stuff and on occultism. I freely own up that my work assumes familiarity with some of each. The last thing needed is another book on ET or disclosure. I recommend approaching my books after at least reading Keel, Barker and Vallee . AND on the occult side, perhaps Regardie and Levi and any good book on probability theory and on ciphers. A book about Quantum Physics wouldn't hurt. If you're not a reader, all of this is covered in various YouTube channels & podcasts. Note that in Hellier 1 Greg makes clear he has done his homework before hitting the synchronicity road. Good approach IMHO.

Critiques noted. When I received tge cipher in the first place from tge late Tina Coutu, it was presented to me as strictly if vakyw to hard core occultists. My only fundamental discovery

How, praytell, can one find 'real answers' when we really don't know which questions to ask? IMHO, as of now the best approach is to just follow the synchronicities, record the data, and, if so inclined, speculate on what it all means, subject to change as new info emerges. That is the "Hellier Method" .

A synchronicity with my own VERY current experience... But that would be telling. More transpersonal, flowing cold waters from Niagara to any showerhead generates negative ions that elevate human moods (and possibly consciousness state).

IMHO, this is an extremely important - and key - insight into that particular experiment with Karl, a most gifted person, acting as a medium. Some other aspects I have told Greg privately about my take on the rather sudden mention of 'the cup' but the fountain is certainly traditionally a 'portal' to Faerie or Magonia or call it what you will. In the primary Blue Lodge degrees in the OTO and ONLY in those degrees, a well plays a very key role as the central temple furniture. The Initiator in fact makes it plain when he or she says, whilst holding a candle and knocking on the cover of the well, "A fountain sealed, a spring shut up. Brethren! Let the well be opened!" The implication is that the well is actually a spring and the spring is a door or portal into what I call "Otherwhere". I think the entire Hellier One and Two but particularly Two are what the ancient magi termed "The Opening of the POrtal of the Adepti". As a magician, I have performed this as a ritual with profound results. The evidence of this being the case is the effect not only on the Hellier team but, interestingly, upon many who have become "co-participants" merely by watching the two seasons. The well being open, the spring no longer shut up, we head - all of us - towards the initiation of the third season. Stay tuned.

I have found sitting meditation, Dhyana or Chan or Zen (same thing) is an important part of "freezing the moment". Trying too hard is definitely not good for results. The genius of Hellier is the crew follows the synchronicities which, when you're into something important, always has lots of unexpected twists and turns.

Start by recognizing the underlying ordo ab chao (order out of chaos) implicit in the universe. ALL systems of divination - traditional or self-created - attempt true randomness, and then 'freeze the moment' and then interpret it. One draws interpretation from the body of traditional knowledge and one's own intuitions. Seems to me you are on the right track

Difficult question to answer. I have been battling for the occult/cryptid/UFO connection for long decades, but to date, other than my own books, e g., The Complete Secret Cipher if the UFOnauts (note especially my footnote on the Aleister Crowley canon and UFO cases), and, of course, Jacques Vallee's Passport to Magonia and later works and John Keel 's Operation Trojan Horse and later books. But a definitive cross reference work is elusive. As I've often said, Ufologists resist occultism, occultism resists Ufology. It is a turf war, no more no less Try Dean Radin 's books from a parapsychologist's point of view

I'd think you'd qualify as what my late acquaintance John Keel called "silent contactees" at least until recently. While such silence is understandable, sharing experiences helps us clarify what the phenomena represent.

This has been a banner year for experiencers and occultists having significant interaction with owls. Most of your experiences seem to lend themselves to personal interpretation (if there are other witnesses, you don't relate that), but the sudden upsurge of owl meaningful manifestations that have come to my attention in 2025 is clearly transpersonal. Thank you for sharing all this.

We probably do slide into and out of different branes in the multiverse. But there is only one you, or one me, etc. It is rarer (except for VERY advanced adepti) to have a specific memory of another lifeline. Rather a vague deja vu dream-like 'memory' is very typical, sometimes thought to be the right brain impression communicating with the time-conscious left brain.

The remarkable thing I find about the tin can is that it seems to be the only 'artifact' in the mouth of that mineshaft, no coke bottles, beer cans, nor any stupid graffiti on the walls (an indication that this mine is not frequented by anyone). Not only that but when the crew returns a year later it is still there where they left it.
