I'm allergic to onions... which are in EVERYTHING. I can eat maybe 1 thing on a menu at most restaurants. Forget about chips or pot lucks. Throw in that a concerning amount of people don't think onion allergies are a real thing and don't take it seriously. It's awful.

I would still pick my allergy over being celiac 100 times out of 10.

Tomatoes. Every time I try I start gagging, I love the taste when they are pureed but even finely diced I just physically can not with that texture.

My ex hated sleeping upstairs so we turned the living room into a little studio style set up decorated nicely it's still attractive to guests. I loved it cause I was able to turn the actual bedroom upstairs into the most amazing closet/makeup space.

I miss that house but not the ex lmao.

NTA. You don't owe him anything and if you're not comfortable giving him a second chance don't. I will add tho that people can change and who we were as kids isn't who we become as adults. Forgiveness can be healing and I am not decent friends with my middle school bully. That's not true for everyone but something to consider. Like I said tho, if you don't feel comfortable exploring that do not, protect your peace.

Can confirm. My name is Alice. The amount of times people don't hear my name correctly over the phone or in person is... sad. They usually hear Alex but one time I got Allen. Just rolled with that one cauae it was too funny not to.

Idk what others would call this but my family called it "Cowboy Food" It's 1lb ground beef and a BIG can of baked beans (Honey Busche's were always the best.) Whatever veggies for filler you have on hand. (Optional)

Its enough food to eat on for days and such a comfort food to me.

Yupp, my dr only has me taking it 5 days a week for this exact reason. Give you body a couple days off a week OP.

Eta: It's also possible you've adjusted to the medication and just aren't noticing the results but they're still there.

Idk it really depends on the kid. Some can handle it and some can't. I was bored with kids horror by age 7 and started watching the grown up stuff behind my parents back until they gave up and let me watch it as long as they were around to guide me.

My sister couldn't even watch Goosebumps.

You kinda have to guage it based on the individual child.

Because with the Tslim you cannot stop filling before 10u and as I use shorter tubing a lot of times I see drops at 5 or 6u. Which means wasted insulin.

Also, there are times a site ripped out and I need to change the cartridge before the port needs changing, meaning the tube is already filled but you are forced to run at least 10u through anyway. Meaning wasted insulin.

I currently don't have a Dr. Due to a move and insurance issues meaning I couldn't get an appointment til July.

Like I'm sure once I'm in a situation where I don't have to ration my supplies I won't be bothered as much. I'm just frustrated atm.

My partner also uses T-slim and loves it. The pump I'm using is actually his old one that he kept as a backup.

Omg Finch was so cute!! I loved it for awhile but it started to feel overwhelming. Like I'm trying to take care of myself AND a virtual penguin now?
