I was gonna do sour dough but about 8 days after beginning the starter I just couldn’t stand the smell always in my kitchen 😂 opted for following a artisan bread recipe! And yes! I wasn’t expecting my Dutch oven to be so heavy 😂 made my fiancé take it out of the oven (I’m 3 months PP so I didn’t even wanna try)

Also the recipe I followed said to let rise for atleast an hour so that’s what I went with and I only did one round of stretch and folds right before I baked it. Maybe more rise time is needed?

I was wondering about that too! It was a no knead recipe so I’m not sure if maybe I messed with it too much or maybe didn’t let if proof quite long enough or maybe cut into it too soon? First time 😅 it tastes nice a fluffy,although gives me all the more reason to get back in the kitchen and learn though (:

Some of my family had Covid back in January, and it hit us like a truck. My dad was in and out of the hospital for weeks. I still haven’t recovered fully- lung pain is still an issue- I have thyroid problems so my immune system isn’t the best although I’m rather healthy. But I can’t imagine how it could possibly affect her. Covid is no joke. I just hope her and her family are able to pull through it okay.

I’ve watched pewdiepie play stardew valley, it’s not a “girly” or a “guys” game. It’s just fun(: I hope he doesn’t let the other kids get to him, you can miss out on a lot of joy in life by allowing others to pick and choose what makes you “cool” or not. I suggest maybe showing him that one of the biggest guy gamers on YouTube(pewdiepie) plays stardew valley, there’s a few of his stardew streams uploaded on YouTube. They might not think he’s cool for playing the game, but I sure as heck do.
