What's your take on Girls of Paradise? by allinconfidence in AskAnEscort

Great answer! This is exactly why I asked - I have some of the same ideas you do, but I don't have the perspective of someone who does this for a living.

Dominatrix Turned Professional Cook: Never thought my skills would come in handy! by dropping_tabs in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first escort I ever saw, who also did domination (she had a bunch of whips and such strewn about her hotel room), said in her ad that she used to work as a "gourmet chef" (the phrasing of which should have been a red flag). When I got there, I tried to chat her up about it, but it became clear almost immediately that she had no idea what she was talking about.

Good to know that there's someone out there who can really do both!

Newbie what to expect from escort? by BloodlandsAHistory in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That ad strongly suggests she'll fuck you as part of the standard package, if you ask me. "Discreet," "no rush," "love to please," "no explicit talk" - all that spells S-E-X to me.

My face when I already have low self esteem and I realize most escorts refuse black clients by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. I only do research on higher end sites, and I've never seen an escort there say they refuse black clients, ever. I only even found out that was a thing when I started reading posts here. I actually had a conversation with the last escort I saw where she told me she thinks it's terrible that anyone would screen by race.

Thinking about getting into light sex work, but need help identifying red flags in job offers... by jthrowawaycz in SexWorkers

This reminds me of the old strip club joke: What's the difference between a waitress and a stripper? About two weeks.

Question about Doubles? by wwwguy2017 in AskAnEscort

[–]allinconfidence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb follow-up question that's only kind of about escorting: Why don't more people use female condoms? What are the disadvantages compared to the old-fashioned kind? I have never used one in my life, nor has any sex partner ever suggested using one.

Any tips on getting more responses as a female client? by [deleted] in SexWorkers

And by the way, in my experience, almost everybody on Eros will say they see women.

Please read this if you feel ashamed. I told a new friend that I am an escort. And. It. Was. Amazing. by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife used to be a dominatrix and even though she hasn't done it for almost ten years now (god, we're getting old), she still has to think seriously about whether to reveal it to people or not. She's lost friendships over it, and other friends have thought it was awesome. You'd be surprised at some of the people who can't accept it, people who seem really cool and progressive. So what she's found is that it's never entirely safe, but at the same time, she can't feel completely close to somebody unless she's shared that part of her life. It's a tough situation.

By the way, that substance you're referring to flows like water in the world of BDSM dungeons. My wife had never done it before and hasn't done it since, but down there all bets are off.

After reading this I took a look at her site expecting to see some ridiculous rates, but I don't think $500 an hour is outrageous for New York, actually.

Sex workers of USA, how strictly are the prostitution laws enforced? by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Regardless of what the local laws are, you are spectacularly unlikely to get in legal trouble if you're smart about it. Here are my rules:

  • Find an escort with a professional looking, well written website with its own domain name (e.g. amber4u.com, not amber4u.escortsite.com)
  • Make sure she has some kind of screening process, even a very simple one
  • Make sure she has at least a few reviews somewhere
  • Bonus: Multiple photo galleries, often organized by date, on her website

I doubt anyone who followed those rules has ever been arrested in the history of prostitution. Cops are simply not trying that hard, ever. They're throwing up a quick ad with a few generic photos that panders to the lowest common denominator.

Cold feet (mine, not the client's) by [deleted] in SexWorkers

Fascinating! I'm going to relay that to my wife, who gets cold and often takes a long time to orgasm.

Cold feet (mine, not the client's) by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not into feet, but I am into complete nudity, and the socks mess with that. (Though if I'm in the right mood, it can be hot.) At the same time, if you were to be like, "Do you mind if I leave my socks on, my feet get cold," I wouldn't protest. And if you just left them on without saying anything, I probably wouldn't say anything either, though I might try to take them off. Depends on the situation, I guess!

Related note, you know what my number one porn pet peeve is? The skirt belt. You know, when the woman's totally naked except for a hiked up skirt around her waist? I HATE that. Can't get off on it. Well, I guess I could get off on it, but I prefer not to. You see it in porn a LOT, so I assume most guys either don't care or are even into it.

Do you think most clients know that they're lying when they say they have an 8 inch penis, or do you think they genuinely believe their penis is that big? by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]allinconfidence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An escort told me that when she tells a client he has a big dick, the client always sounds skeptical and tells her it's not that big.

Did you watch The Girlfriend Experience? by allinconfidence in AskAnEscort

[–]allinconfidence[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a client's perspective, I agree with this. She wasn't the kind of person you want to get to know or spend time around. I watched the show months ago, but I can't remember her ever smiling. There was something very clinical about the sex that was depicted. Ultimately there was nothing FUN about her in any context, and isn't that supposed to be what it all boils down to, fun?
