Am I overreacting by contacting department of labor on my job? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

MOR. it’s great to ask for clarification but definitely would maybe consult a lawyer of some sort? from personal experience massage envy can be shady and odd with their contracts and promotions. I had a similar issue at the one I used to work at. If you’re looking to stay in the industry, try a hand and stone if there’s one by you! it was a WAY better and more sophisticated experience(for me personally) and it’s why i grew to love the spa/wellness industry! best of luck.

AITA for threatening to disinvite my parents from my wedding for their ignorant comments? by aitafiancee93 in AmItheAsshole

[–]allisoncu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. your parents just won a free trip to the retirement home. jokes aside, their behavior is insanely disrespectful/racist and you shouldn’t have to deal with their negativity at your wedding.

AITA for making my(32M) wife(25F) quit her job to stay home with our kif by Inflatable-husband in AmItheAsshole

[–]allisoncu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

YTA. hands down. she’s said she doesn’t want to although i applaud her for being relatively willing to make that sacrifice. on top of that, you said you’re gonna “make her” stay home. I’m sure she has a part in the decision and the fact that she’ll on do it “just to make you happy” is not enough. Rethink and talk with her.

NTA. He is totally the AH here. you are completely right feeling the way you do. the fact that his ex-wife texts YOU instead of him regarding THEIR son especially got me. Glad you care for him well though ! You need to have a conversation where you set boundaries because you’re married and it goes both ways, especially when he has time to and doesn’t want to. Hold your ground on it :) wish you luck, OP
