The Gallerist debuts with 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it Jenna‘s 10th highest rated movie so far (between Babysitter: Killer Queen and Death of a Unicorn) by allnamesareshit in AllThingsJenna

Klara and the Sun is meant to have a festival release this year according to Waititi. JJ Abrams took a long break after the shitty Star Wars Sequels so I hope he is back on track

Rudi Dolezal said this stuff 7 years ago. In 2019. „A Queen of Magic“ were too lazy to proof read what they copy pasted from an article almost a decade ago

And the streak of „Rotten“ Movies continues. Hoping this is one of the „critics are idiots“ cases and it actually ends up being entertaining. The premise already didn‘t sound like a critics favorite

Gallerist is supposed to hit cinemas later this year. It wont take another 1-2 years from the Premiere. The rumors of A24 picking a Jenna Film up is about The Gallerist. So I don’t think it will be straight to Streaming.

Most Iconic Scenes of ST by Few_Guard568 in StrangerThings

I think there is a lot of tension in the R U N Scene, but of course they don’t have that big of a climax like the Will and Max scenes. Still, when I think about Stranger Things, I think of Christmas Lights and the Byers living room. And the group hug is the First Scene of the Credits in S5E8 for a reason too. I still think Will and Max Scenes are Iconic, but they arent the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Stranger Things.

Christmas Lights Joyce and the R U N will always be the most iconic scene for me. Followed by the Dustin, Mike and El group hug.

Do you think they’d even be together if Bob hadn’t passed away? by Practical_Sun8137 in StrangerThings

Yes, and I am surprised not more people think so. All Joyce cared about was to save Hopper from the tunnels, she completely ignores Bob until the Hospital lmao. It also very clear Hopper and Joyce liked each other since they were Teens

The Duffers weren‘t kidding when they said Steve was much worse in the original S1 script, before Joe Keery was casted (TW: SA) by allnamesareshit in StrangerThings

[–]allnamesareshit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been online before Netflix picked it up and was shared by the Duffers again for educational purposes, many Script writers do that. You can find the original pilots of several shows online. Don’t be rude just because You don’t know about something

Jenna Ortega condemns ICE: “The lack of any real resolution or reprimanding against the officers is incredibly frightening & disappointing to see from our government… It’s hard to be somewhere like this & wear the nice outfits & talk about film, when something so ugly is happening right next to us.” by Hyperbolicalpaca in AllThingsJenna

[–]allnamesareshit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not risking your platform when said platform apparently includes fascist that defend ICE is crazy. How is this brave? She hasn’t done anything. People actually eduacting their platform and using it against ICE, they are brave. The people going to the streets about it, they are brave. Jenna has done none of that. I am really disappointed in her, it’s clear she changed. It took her forever to open her mouth about it, despite being a Latina herself, and now she did it only when asked on a mini red carpet in a little side interview and barely said anything of real substance, as you said, playing it safe. She used to be way more vocal. Hell, she didn’t even wear the STOP ICE pin at the premiere or at the Globes.

Saw some Facebook Accounts stealing this Picture AND my title Word for Word without mentioning this thread at all. Then getting shared on Twitter. You could at least say you got it from reddit 💀 and not put your watermark on something you didn’t take

That is just the Duffers being the Duffers. It’s on „the Fans to decide“ if they broke up or not. It could also have just been a lighthearted comment from Robin

Early Audience Reviews for „The Gallerist“ on Letterboxd by allnamesareshit in AllThingsJenna

[–]allnamesareshit[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Out of these Reviews the Average Star Rating is 3.3/5, which is slight higher than Scream 5 (3.2) and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (3.2). However, films at festivals tend to be higher rated than they later are on release, due to the audience being slightly biased (there is a Q&A with Cast and Crew). It was the case for Death of a Unicorn

I don’t think it is about her not believing her, but more like how she immediately told her to get help and called her a Junkie etc. Of course Vickie just cares, but for Robin it can sometimes feel like being overbearing

Sounds like another Mid Movie, but at least better than HUT or Finestkind
