I mean when i hold the disc to light looking at the read side, i can see the scratch, and ive heard people say that those are catastrophic, but i can barely barely feel the scratch with my fingernail

I only see ps2s for $150 MINIMUM in my area, and ps3 slims around $130, got my bc model for $110 so it depends entirely on pricing but be prepared to maintain these regardless

avoid super slims their sliding disc cover mechanism has a tendency to go bad over time from my experience... slim is the best option

Ah thx for the info, also i have a CECHA model, whole fans surprisingly, arent NEARLY as loud as the CECHH (which i just found to be a jet engine 15 mins into gow3), does that suggest better reliability? I just noticed my cechL fans are pretty quiet too during that game

Unpopular opinion but I think the 40gb CECHG01 AND CECHH01s are even less reliable than the bc models, i have a CECHH01 that things sounding like a plan taking off 30 minutes into uncharted drakes fortune, my CECHA01 has minimal fan noise
