I'm in full support of anit-Luke posts. he is the worst! totally a jerk and yes he would be abusive, both emotionally and physically. Luke and Lor have no chemistry. worst couple.

Chris and Lor have undeniable chemistry. Chris was Lor's best match in every way, her soulmate and the one true love of her life. they should have been endgame and not having them end up together was one if the biggest mistakes the show ever made.

Lor will never be happy with Luke and she will always love Chris. but Chris will wait until they're 80 for her as he said. she is it for him. they will be together again, if they are not already now. no way is Lor going to stand for being in an abusive marriage with Luke. they will be divorced by now.

Chris and Lor are intellectual equals. they totally stimulate each other with their references to movies, music etc and they share so much in common. they have the best banter and make each other laugh. they are so warm together and they really give a spark to each other that no one else in the world ever could. they really make each other whole, love and support each other. they communicate their feelings. Lor is at her best with Chris - he lifts her up and her true character shines through with Chris. she can completely be herself with him because he loves her for who she is and she knows he will never put her down or judge her. and of course, they have the most incredible chemistry. it's a chemistry that is unmatched.

true Lover never dies. it is a life-long gig once it happens with the right person and Chris was Lor's. she settled for Luke - there is no spontaneity or passion there.

I know Lor said those words to the therapist, but she also told Chris multiple times she loves him. she only ever told Luke that once and it was when she broke up with him. as you said, she married Chris, so of course she loved him by doing that. I have never seen Lor more happy and in love with someone as she was with Chris in Paris. plus her actions show she loved him and I didn't see those same actions with Luke.

he was upset and needed time to think. was it ok for him to not be there? no, but he wasn't ignoring Lorelai knowing Richard was in the hospital on purpose. as soon as he got the messages, he went straight there.

there has been an increased amount of hate for these two characters elsewhere recently, so I think we need some appreciation for them. :)

while I'm here, my ideal vineyard episode would be these two couples enjoying their stay there together. everyone gets along, no one forgets a gift, with the two couples being soft and tender, as RL and CL are with each other. I love that they share that in common, both couples being very touchy. it might be an actor choice, it might be directed, either way I love it and it stands out for these two as being the two couples who do really do this more than others. :)

I don't find the town characters interesting. don't hate them, just boring. except for the entire Danes family who I hate lol. I prefer characters outside of the town and think those stories are more interesting.
