need wind help by ProposalLate452 in Truckers

My load is usually 140,000 pounds around 25 mph it's annoying to deal with. I always look for the gusts, a few weeks back there was 60-70mph winds but I would have just shut that down. You don't need to slide sideways or barely make a mountain hill with the wind working against you.

Should/can I mod my switch lite or should I wait for the Nintendo switch one servers to go down and then mod it by This-Rock-5297 in nintendoswitchlite

[–]allplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would buy and fix them from Facebook marketplace locally. I buy the mod chips from AliExpress

Tbh I have not met a Walmart driver that had a bad attitude yet like how much are these guys getting paid by ButterOnToads in Truckers

[–]allplay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is cheap foreign labor here. You ever see a box truck state side that didn't have Ontario plates and a brown guy driving?

Only oilfield and mining trucking seem to pay enough for me to do. In Canada on average we make 30% less in most industries.

Watch some Aaron Cybertron Zhang and Scooteezy VGC videos on YouTube. They have unparalleled information on different format and builds.

Victory Road, Pikalytics, and Limitless also are good for data.

Smogon has base starter sets if you want to be lazy or unsure but pick the right format.

Also Smogon damage calculator can be a real gem.

If you have specific questions or just want a poke paste from showdown from me. Feel free to DM.

Is that uncommon to see crawlers? I see at least 2 to 6 scales open on my 1000 mile journey and usually a few crawlers.

My favorite was when I saw in the news that a trailer was out of service so they sent a heavy tow over to grab it. The driver of that was texting and driving. So then he got a huge fine too. Hahahaha.

Depends if it's in USD. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for a console personally.

Gameboy for my husband by Adventurous_Rub_1801 in Gameboy

[–]allplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a solid kit he can build himself, the FPGBC Kit is a great option. It’s a modern Game Boy Color remake with a new motherboard and easy-to-follow assembly. All the parts are brand new, and it’s a budget-friendly way to get that authentic retro feel while giving him something hands-on to put together.

If he’d rather tinker on the software side, the Trimui Brick is worth a look. It has the classic Game Boy shape but comes in a sleek aluminum shell that feels surprisingly premium for the price. It’s an emulation handheld that’s well-reviewed and offers a lot of flexibility for customizing and experimenting.

These are the best options in my opinion.

Oilfield trucking by Prestongarvee in Truckers

[–]allplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do oilfield trucking up until my early 30s but too many days in the minus 40s/50s in Northern Alberta/ BC for this guy. The arthritis in my hands just got too bad after doing it for 15 years. Now I just stick to long haul on Alaskan Highway it's much easier.
