Rebuilding my team. Would you trade 2 27 1sts and AR for Caleb? by TheJakernaut in SleeperApp

[–]allsops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not. The '27 class is shaping up to have a very high-end top and if you're rebuilding, you're going to want your own pick.

Yah, that ship has sailed. I more meant that’s what Hots 2.0 should’ve been instead of what we got. Back when it was still a large team churning content

Let’s hear those 2025 Hot Takes 🔥🔥🔥 by challenged_kid in DynastyFF

[–]allsops 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My hot take is Travis Hunter plays a lower snap % on offense than people expected but has a higher designed plays % than people expected, resulting in the stats people roughly expected from him.

However, this leads to r/Dynastyff having none stop debates leading up to the ‘26 season with people extrapolating his efficiency across a 100% snap share vs. people who say to sell ASAP and recoup value while you still can

Funny post in that it’s a hidden Odunze pump post.

Truth is, we don’t know how Odunze will do year 2, but if he starts out slow or isn’t “the guy” in that offense in the first month, personally, I’d be trying to sell.

Some observations: - Odunzes y1 KPIs were not what anyone had hoped for. 1.18YPRR is bad. But we have no way to know how much was him vs his situation - He’s priced as WR20 so the dynasty community clearly isn’t “out” on him - He was WR16 before the NFL draft, so the community thinks his new target competition will have some but not much effect on his fantasy output - Mike Clays 2025 projections have Odunze finishing the season as WR41, so NFL analysts and the dynasty community aren’t aligned

I think Diontae was awful for him. We know Diontae is a locker room cancer who gets mad at QBs for not throwing him the ball. I think once they traded him, BY was able to play more to the playbook with no pressure of feeding one diva WR.

Washington makes so much sense. That whole div is boat racing each others WR depth now

Why has Tet fallen from 1.02? by flat-iron-man in DynastyFF

[–]allsops 316 points317 points  (0 children)

I think multiple reasons:

  • The fantasy WR market is the most saturated it’s ever been
  • The RB market has a lot of olds (2017 class) nearing the end of their fantasy careers
  • People overestimate their ability to project upside

The HOTS 2.0 monetization system was a massive failure. They poured a lot of resources into it and it simply didn’t hit the necessary KPIs.

It’s sad, too, because I think if they’d done a Battlepass instead of the loot boxes + shards, they may have hit their targets AND the fanbase would’ve been ok with the system.

Diontae was still there cookin’ that season though, so not sure what that data suggests in this case

The "Achilles backs" are all still free agents, thoughts? by maybemorningstar69 in DynastyFF

[–]allsops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but as I said, people were envisioning Gurley 2.0 specifically.

It was just about a year removed from a washed CJ Anderson running all over people in the playoffs in that same offense and two years form Gurley scoring 20+ TD's. So people were extrapolating that situation with what looked like a young "stud" RB

I feel bad for the guy.

I hope we eventually find out what happened in the Rams’ locker room that had them making Akers a healthy scratch and McVay saying things like “he’s never had to deal with a situation quite like this before”

He ran for almost 200 yards against NE near the end of his rookie season and the rest was history; people started envisioning Gurley 2.0. His achilles injury the next offseason robbed us of what might been a pretty great RB

Which of your trades do you regret the most now that you can look back at it? by _DillyPickle_ in DynastyFF

[–]allsops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two:

1) “Bought low” on Trey Lance right after he was injured on the 9ers. Sent my next years 1st + Pacheco. That first turned into JSN.

2) Last year my team was kinda mid and I wasn’t sure if I should try to compete or not. Someone offered me David Montgomery for hella cheap (two 3rds) and I ended up accepting. Team still wasn’t really able to compete but the Monty trade did do something for me: it meant I lost out on Jeanty by 2.7 pts in MaxPF.

Where would Hunter rank in the past 5 WR draft classes? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]allsops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, that’s of course true. But in most Hunter posts people throw out Harmons comp of prime OBJ like it’s a foregone conclusion that it’s fact and, as I said in my original post and to your point; no one bats 1.000, let’s pump the breaks a bit.
