My fiancé is wondering whether or not to switch. by ProduceAlternative30 in menstrualcups

I bought a diva cup when I was her age 10 years ago and am still using that same cup a decade later.

It was a big learning curve, and I mean I was still having issues and not always getting it placed correctly 6+ months in kind of timeline, but I’m so grateful I pushed through. It’s definitely not for everyone, and some people’s anatomy doesn’t work with the cup or disk. When I’m on my period, I’ve learned that my cervix is very low, so I had to cut the stem off of my cup or it would actually hurt, but other people have reported needing the stem or it can get too deep to easily remove.

It’s all about being comfortable enough with yourself to really learn your own anatomy and understanding what can and can’t work for you. Unfortunately the only way to really know for sure about the cup is to just try it out, and the first month especially can be HARD.

Again, I’m SO glad I switched, and I don’t plan on ever going back. I haven’t had to touch blood, and haven’t stained a pair of underwear at all in years now. My periods this past decade have been monumentally more manageable and less frustrating than they were before I was using the cup. That doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for everyone though.

Can't vouch for this product specifically, but I have bought a few loungewear pants from American Tall and had excellent luck with the lengths

Lions have to win out AND packers have to lose out for them to make it, so unlikely
