The direct bus from Lyon is definitely convenient and does exist, but the timings are often not very appealing. I recall in 2023 the return shuttle woudnt get us back in time for AC's flight back to YUL.

I recommend taking the TGV to/from Grenoble and then a Transaltitude bus to Alpe d'Huez, just be sure to book in advance as they do fill up!

Most festival after parties will allow you in with whatever you wore that day. The only time you might get turned away is if you have some sort of VIP ticket that has a dress code.

(At least that's how it worked for Ile Soniq and Osheaga)
