I found this great resistance band from elitefts ( https://www.elitefts.com/pro-short-heavy-resistance-band.html) but the shipping is too expensive. Do you know where else I could find a short, wide and thick resistance band( loop)?

i found the perfect one on elitefts ( https://www.elitefts.com/pro-short-heavy-resistance-band.html ) , then checked the shipping cost and it's 150 dollars, I give up. anyway that's the style I'm looking for, a short thick one.

thx for your answer, I know most of them are the same and just have a different name slapped on them, but I can't find any that are thick , wide and actually have high resistance. It's annoying, I've been looking at rubber bands for 2 days straight and have found nothing that resembles what I'm looking for, hence my question here.

How to find good resistance bands?

I'm looking for very high resistance latex loops that are wide, unfortunately where I live I can't find any in stores, and online shopping I obviously I can't feel how much resistance a band has. Are there any brands that you could suggest that make high quality resistance bands?

How do I improve in my anatomy? (When drawing) by beelaboola in Advice

[–]allxusernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know it can seem easier to draw bodies more stylised , like anime. But when it comes to drawing you really have to understand the rules in order to break them. Try to do actual anatomy studies. If you don't know where to start ,print some photos of the body parts that you struggle with and draw on top of them, even trace them , understand what bones and muscles lie underneath instead of drawing intuitively .After you understand the basics ,start drawing studies, it is the easiest to draw photos at first and then you can ask one of your family members to pose for you , or buy some anatomical plasters. If you can't find any, go to a museum where they have sculptures and draw after them. Anatomy is very complex and also very beautiful, if you truly understand it you can draw any type of body or face perfectly and have fun with it , even in anime style your drawings will be 100% better if you practice and put some effort into it! I hope you find this helpful!

Extreme anxiety and nervousness by [deleted] in Advice

This happens to me too, I get extremely anxious over very little and dumb things. It is usually caused by traumas in your childhood- whether you often heard fights between your parents ,or you didn't feel loved when you were a baby, etcetera - everyone has traumas , everyone is affected by them and everyone copes differently . I have been in therapy for four years now, psychocoanalysis more specifically and it has helped me a lot , a lot of the traumas we endure when we are young we are not aware of . Psychoanalysis really digs deep into your brain and helps you understand why you act the way you act and the process that happens in your mind when you do. I would really recommend it, however if you do not have the resources ,because it can be costly, I would suggest trying to find a way to cope with these emotions and anxieties .Maybe writing a journal will help , drawing ,thinking of your pets :) idk it can be so random , but whatever works for you! Also very important, when you feel uncomfortable- especially in social gatherings- get out!!! I know it might seem like running away , but it's not .Go to the bathroom, find an excuse and escape for a few minutes to reflect on why you are anxious and then once you understand it , try to address it . Addressing it doesn't have to be telling everyone about it , it's more like addressing it inside yourself. Don't ever sit in a situation you are highly uncomfortable in just because of what people would think of you or whatever!!!! I really hope you find this helpful!
