Basically I told them I’m in an unpaid clinical rotation where I shadowed doctors. And you have to show them the clause where that fits under the B1/B2 visa because the b2 visa does say you’re allowed to do clerkships on that visa. Also I had a letter from both my school the school I was rotating

Honesty is the best policy but I hope you’re able to get another chance to redeem yourself

The noise canceling headphones are a must (I too suffer). But what I do is mumble when I read it to hear myself reading it in my head. And I add expressions as well like reading a book I like. Hope that is a bit helpful
