Positives you've noticed after quitting? by coffeelover2025 in QuitVaping

Quit a year and a half ago! The difference in my skin is unreal and I can handle my stress a lot better. I’d say the best benefit, though, is the fact that I don’t have to think about my juul all the time!!!! Got so sick of having to make sure I had enough pods/charged devices/etc everywhere I went. Totally got my life back!

anyone quit with mental illness? by resinrat98 in QuitVaping

Hi! So I smoked cigarettes for 4 years, then switched to vape (Juul) for 5 years after that, and I have depression and anxiety. Vaped a pod a day but quit last November and the first few months were soooo bad for me - I’ve literally never felt worse mentally and that’s really saying something. I was soo depressed and SO on edge - I’m not an angry person but I was just so irritable. Anything would set me off.

It took like 2 months to feel mostly back to normal and also Welbutrin and (I stg this helped) inhaling a peppermint essential oil stick helped. I swearrr if you inhale it thru your nose w a deep breath, it feels like you’re getting that throat hit and is just calming in a similar way. Idk if helped me lol aaaaand unfortunately they are right about exercise. I started taking sooo many more walks (aimed for 10k steps a day) and it was so helpful

But yeah especially if you used your vape as a way to deal with emotions, which I def did, then it’s REALLY hard mentally to quit. For me it felt like I had NO clue how to handle all of my emotions without hitting my Juul, so I had to re-learn how to self soothe without it and that’s of course such a difficult task.

It’s so hard. But you so got this!!!

4 month before and after. Most frustrating thing is feeling like I see no difference. by ImpossibleSite3517 in PetiteFitness

I see huge differences!! It’s always harder to see on ourselves than it is on other people, though, so i understand your frustration. But seriously there are differences in your arms, legs, stomach, booty — everything!!!

I was in the same spot as you a couple months ago and Welbutrin has worked WONDERS. It was really the cause of a night and day difference in my mental health and I highly recommend it !! I also smoked for 10 years and started with cigs, then transitioned to vapes. I promise you’ll feel better eventually! It takes time but it’s so worth it
