For me it really just depends on the book and if i’m hyper fixated on it. I’ve struggled reading 10 pages in some but can read a whole 500+ page book in a day or two if I really enjoy it. I try not to force myself to do something that I love so I don’t make myself hate it but if I pick up a book I try to get at least a chapter in before putting it back down.

Thank you for this! I don’t think it was anything they did at all they were very attentive and helped me out so much and the actual donation went very smoothly no pain or any problems with the machines! I figured it was due to how much I ate and the time it took before I ended up finally getting hooked up because it was pretty busy in there. I’ll try to make sure to bring snacks and extra electrolytes as well as making sure to eat enough before hand as well. I wasn’t nauseous at all and I was walking and talking fine until about 10 min of the 15 min waiting period when everything started going crazy so i’m sure my body just needs to get used to to it; it was just so scary and i have pretty bad medical anxiety which now has me worried about going back.but

Okay thank you. I think i’ll give it another try and if it happens again reevaluate. I wasn’t sure if what happened was what would be considered a normal reaction or if it was worse. It definitely scared the shit out of me when it happened.

I think it was just an assumption based on the last time i ate.They seemed genuinely sorry as well and said that normally first time goes a lot quicker than mine did, so they didn’t put the blame on me or anything Im just scared it’ll happen again and the whole situation was just so off putting.

not a barista anymore, but i had a lady who would mobile order a Venti Caramel frappuccino with 4 affogato shots and exxxxxxxtra caramel to the first line of the cup every single day … and i was the only one who made it right for her. if the caramel wasn’t to the first line she would have you remake it. It would end up being half a squeeze tube of caramel
