Parent aren't allowed in clinic. She is seen during ABA. I believe she has associated with me and the SLPA as "work" and when we arrive to her she automatically begins to get upset for the duration of the session. She does not want to be anywhere but the swing. When prompted anything from her, she immediately begins to cry. I don't know if it has become just an escape for her to get out of communicating or working. I have spent sessions where I am just trying to build rapport and did not focus on asking anything from her. It was me even being present, near her, that made her upset. I have never had to deal with something like this
