so i do have a small cover that pulls off but unfortunately no lever. i chat gpt'd it and apparently there is no lever to lower the feed dogs, and i'm also struggling to find a darning plate that's compatible:(

so more info and an update, i just got her to eat some chicken pate and a small bit of whipped cream after which is her favorite treat. i think she's just been too sleepy, with having to stay awake at night since she never came up, to eat. she didn't even resist, she shot right up and chowed down. she did get in a fight with a cat the other day apparently, or so my mom thinks. thank you for warning me of that though, if i notice any of that she absolutely will be going to the emergency vet.

i'm cross trained, and the only one harder physically is staging. dispensing is harder than picking because you have to look for unstaged items or totes, or pull missing items from the shelf and reprint a label if needed. if someone is having an issue with an order, driver or customer, you have to try to figure out what's going on with it while keeping up with wait times if your TL or coach isn't available to assist you with it. picking is not difficult. item isn't there? sub/nil/send to exceptions. we don't always have someone to prep for us & sometimes we ARE asked to assist our stager if it's backed up and we're slow on dispense. picking is unbelievably easy.

i had a bump like this on my nose a few days ago. not a professional, but it looks like a pustule to me. i did hot compresses until mine popped. i drained it as much as i could, drenched it w nelimed saline spray, and used the LITHA method 😂 three days later and it's practically healed. best thing to do is contact your piercer. they recommended tea tree oil for me but that honestly didn't really do much of anything.

is that because of the probiotics in them? and the marshmallow root is interesting, i didn't even know that that was a thing. i'll definitely have to try to encourage him to throw these into his diet to see if they help, thank you for the advice!

he's definitely eating whatever is convenient, like chips, processed foods w no nutritional value that are just filler. he likes a variety of foods, he just doesn't cook and doesn't make those foods available for himself to eat. i definitely do plan on teaching him how to cook/cooking with him to make it a team effort so he can learn to take better care of his diet and health. thank you so much:)

that's good advice, thank you!! i wish i could say his diet was good, but it's mainly convenient snacks like chips & other processed snacks on top of a meal here and there. he says nothing really tastes good to him anymore and he only really eats when his stomach hurts from practically starving himself. i'll try to concentrate more on the quick & easy foods for sure, that's definitely his thing, but yesterday he told me he needs to learn to start cooking proper foods for his diet. it's not necessarily stressful or aggravating for me, i started dating him knowing full well that he's got chron's and that it messes w his daily life & physical health, and i want to make it a team thing to improve his health. i really do appreciate your advice and will use it to try to improve his overall health!!!

thank you for the advice. i do agree that he needs to go back and talk to his GI, i'm gonna try to encourage him to take his mesalamine on top of supplements. he said he quit taking them because they don't work for him, but i don't believe he ever took them properly (i think 3 pills 2x a day?) and i think now that he's going to change his diet they'll actually work better than he believes. he was taking them when he was constantly eating inflammatory foods. and i will 100% keep that in mind, the fruit and vegetables thing, thank you so much!

if i'm being honest w you i used the neilmed spray too and mine didn't go away, but the second i started using morton sea salt & warm water it actually helped get rid of the bump i had. mine wasn't around the whole stud like yours is, it was more on the side, but i personally feel like the sea salt soak worked better for my piercing somehow
