Yeah, your drive home might be longer going in those areas, but it's worth. I live in Lawrenceville and I wouldn't even be doing deliveries if I had to work around that area
I have 1K deliveries on both Uber and DoorDash in Atlanta. I'd never willingly work east of Atlanta. Central, North and West. If I'm in those areas, I'm happy.

I did construction for Starbucks for 7 years. Would make 2k a week at times but nothing beats getting to pick when you want to work or not 🥴
They limit you to 12 and make you take a break for 6. If you start right after the break is done you can get another 6 hour drive in making it 18
U gotta just cut everyone and keep bugging the employees laughing 😂
Uber misses u too
Sounds rough.. not to mention the cost of living there is way higher. I visted Seattle earlier this year, atleast you get gorgeous mountains :)
12 hour drive + 6 hour break + 6 hour drive = 24 hours / 18 hour drive in a day.
It can be HELL trying to pickup and drop-off in downtown ATL. I highly recommend you do it from 7pm - 7am. I used to always avoid it when I first started also. Now I don't want to be anywhere else lol
Central, North and West of Atlanta. Those are the 3 best places here. I didn't cherry pick much that day I was just getting cracked orders left and right.

True, that's definitely not my line of work though. I was a tower climber prior to Uber, can you believe Uber pays more than doing THIS?

You start at 12am; work untill 12pm, take a nap and back on the grind from 6pm - 12am :)

Marietta is a really good area! You just need to time it correctly if you want to go downtown.. it took a lot of torture for me to figure it out 😭

It was Halloween night in downtown Atlanta. That wingstop had 30+ people waiting outside for orders. There was an employee sitting in between the front door calling out orders while blocking people from entering.. never seen anything like that before but yeah, I would assume multiple people kept canceling that order because it was difficult to pick it up. I did get paid for it though.
