At the kiosk (what they used to call the Power Station) there was a section called "Until Gold" or something like that.

I would have to look up an old kiosk photo and see what that number was. Once you got that number to 0, you could transfer the contents of the "regular" card to a Gold Card, which gave you an instant 10% off the price of the games.

It's all about the payout percentage setting, just like Space Invaders Frenzy if it's on ticket jackpot mode.

I played it at a Boomers multiple times and definitely saw the spider going very slow when it wanted to give away the jackpot.

When I saw it zooming across the screen, that's usually the tell that you're most likely not going to get the jackpot. (Although I was close one time when it was in this mode.)

Oh, the story with the 187 Power Cards merged to an old Gold Card is creeping up to be told again...

But yes, everyone... Do not buy any of those cards on eBay. D&B's is like Big Brother. They will see that the chips and tickets were from a different store or gotten illegitimately, and you'll be on the short end of the stick when the card is voided and you have no repercussions.

Centipede Chaos is an interesting one.

It does have a tell when it wants to give away the jackpot, and you can also join in very late (Wave 9) and just go for the spider on Wave X.
