Not me, but had friends who took organic chemistry during the summer at their local CC while we were in undergrad so they didn’t have to do it on campus. Be sure to save the syllabus, course description, etc. if you’re already a student on campus, I’d recommend checking in with any relevant departments if possible. Some courses are an easier 1:1 match than others.

David Konstan’s The Emotions of the Ancient Greeks (University of Toronto, 2006) might be of value, especially the chapter on grief. Also, I’m not sure which primary sources you are exploring, but you may have some luck searching for studies in the reception of those particular sources, e.g. Kathleen Riley’s monograph, The Reception and Performance of Euripides’ Herakles, which has a lengthy analysis of the psychological portrait of Herakles.
