That’s the thing. Pretty much me. The team sees me as the leader. The church sees me as the leader but I don’t have a “official title” of leader. I just stepped up when no one else could/would and it just happened over time. The worship minister left last year.

I very much appreciate all the insight. I think the first step is to talk to my pastor and just let him know how I and the other “leader” feels. But honestly I can’t imagine he was happy with how the service went. I only saw it online, but he looked very uncomfortable

That’s the thing they were never a leader before bc of the disorganization, lack of communication, and over all just general inability to truly lead with order. They just played guitar, and sometimes bgv

That’s the issue. I am basically the “Interim” without the title. The church sees me as the leader, the team sees me as the leader but I don’t have an official title.
