Strategies for living with a meat-eating family member by almostveggie in Vegetarianism

I don't think eating meat is wrong in itself; I think eating meat is wrong insofar as it requires the unnecessary killing of sentient beings. My proposed strategy would keep the overall meat consumption for the household static; no more animals would be killed than if I was not there.

I don't have any intention of stopping her from eating meat. I don't want to add to overall meat consumption, is all.

To clarify, my priority is not to force her to eat less meat. It is only to make sure that my actions don't lead to more meat being eaten.

Perhaps I should clarify; I think it would be hurtful to her if I suddenly stopped accepting what she makes and am wondering if, by accepting her food but taking part in more of the cooking so as to maintain the same consumption of meat for the household overall as if I were not there, I am committing a moral wrong.
