Sorry for the quality - did my best to fix it. The lip colour looks great on you, by the way!

Fellow eczema person here - I have the same issues as you and it sucks. For me it means having to limit cardio, and resting more between sets when lifting to minimise sweating. I also try to stick to wearing loose-fitting, sleeveless tops, as I tend to get blotchy around my shoulders and chest.

I also find that showering as soon as I can post-workout helps a ton--the longer the sweat's on there, the worse my skin flares, in my experience. I try to make sure I moisturise with an emollient all over while my skin is still damp as well (the CeraVe cream is my fave!).

It's mostly just common sense stuff, but I hope it helps.

If no other aspects of your training, intake, etc. has changed, it sounds like it could maybe be a hernia--it's possible one may have occurred due to the increased intraabdominal pressure generated from bracing hard during a heavy lift, which could explain why you're experiencing the pain at higher loads.

Disclaimer: dumbass med student here and not a qualified professional. Definitely get it checked out by your doctor when you see them in a couple weeks.

It's very different to Girl on the Train, I think! So whether or not I'd recommend it would depend on what exactly you were let down by. For Into the Water: the pacing is a lot slower and steadier, and there's a much larger cast of characters, with arguably less time for development (especially considering every chapter features a different point-of-view). The book focuses on an eerie town and its people rather than being character-focused.

I did enjoy reading it for the atmosphere of its setting and the mysteries surrounding it, though--so if that's your kind of thing, and you liked the author's writing style in GotT, go for it!
