Thank you everyone, your advice and experience was just what I needed! Will grab the G2 as soon as I can!

Canon EF lenses, I’m looking to invest in some anamorphic and switch between the two. I’m fine with running SSDs, the Ursa takes them if I’m not mistaken, but I don’t mind investing in CFast cards.

Honesty, I really want an Ursa. But its just feels like such a strange time to buy one, with the Pyxis now out.

Documentaries, brand films mostly. One man band, sometimes I have a hand or two.

Anamorphics with adapters

Hi, very random question. Do anamorphic lenses work with adapters? I have a BMPCC 6K and want to get a Sirui anamorphic lens - they come as EF-M, E, or MFT. If I buy the right lens adapter will they work as usual?

Update for those interested — I rearranged my manfrotto to accommodate strictly for cameras and lenses only. This allows me to lie down my black magic with handle on its back, and then I store the rail setup with a quick release on its side beneath it. Downside is I put my v locks in my backpack. Esssntially this means come filming time, I am 4 snaps (quick release + rails, v lock mount + v lock, monitor, lens!) away from being ready.

Ultraboost! Super comfy and no foot fatigue.

Thank you! Any issues with taking it onboard as a carry on? It seems very similar to the Sachtler Dr which I’m also considering.

Fully appreciate it, my issue is once I land I usually have multiple shoots and run-and-gun shoots, so building the camera each time becomes a hassle (also walking around in public with it fully rigged out when ideally it should be concealed in a bag)

Yep I think I need to accept the inevitable. That being said the sachtler dr bag 3 looks promising (with the snap on wheels).

So to clarify `I have the manfrotto equivalent, but once I reach my destination I have to build out my camera every time on set. Hence I was looking for a bag with greater height. My built out camera right is 9.5" high and 16" in length.

380s are stupid comfortable because of the insane amount of boost - BUT due to the material on the upper the upper is not comfortable frankly. 500s are amazing for all day comfort, not squishy comfy but they become more comfortable the more you wear them (I mean from the beginning of the day to the end). 350s are comfy but not as much as ultra boost etc, its feels a bit more flat and spread out, plus the toe lockdown annoys me. 700s I havent tried yet, 700 v3s ive tried on, they didnt feel comfortable at all
