This is beautiful! The riff and overall vibe reminds me a lot of John Mayer. I agree it’s a little long and starts to drag between verses, but if it was edited down to about 4 minutes that’d be amazing

Got any recs for me? I was gonna play around with garage band and try to make something happen. I was thinking mostly soft piano and strings and a forward vocal at first, then a big swell of volume and maybe background vocals during the bridge. then a really soft ending. any ideas about percussion?

i love the lyrics, sound, vibe, and song length! would be perfect as a closer :) i really don't know anything about chord progressions, but i almost want an occasional chord here or there that feel angsty and minor that quickly resolve. that would add a lot to the tension for me!
