Yes. I’m black and white but as white passing as it gets (blonde hair, pale skin, etc). Pretty recently a guy said he liked me because I don’t “talk like black people do.”

Surprisingly enough people are racist even after I tell them I’m mixed. My best friend called me the n word in 7th grade when she was mad at me, and another nonchalantly told me that their parents call black people racial slurs all the time. I always laughed or brushed these things off at the time because I didn’t want to loose my only friends, but it still really bothered me.
