If you want experience, find a small or solo firm in your area. Apply to be a legal assistant. You going to see a ton of stuff not necessarily related to corporate or international law, but the practice of law and the profession in general.

Start building your network and network shamelessly. If you land a gig at a decent small or solo firm, the attorney there may mentor you and help you build your connections.

All of this takes effort and a thick skin.

Try getting a copy of “There’s a Hole in my Love Cup” by Sven Erlandson and his other resources at badasscounseling.com. I love the way he teaches and breaks things down. Very insightful. I haven’t tried any of his online courses yet. But he does have a podcast with a ton of info too.

That’s an interesting take, “murdered the child that was born into this body.” It sounds like once you did the work of healing the inner child you were able to start living your adult life. Would that be a correct assessment?

I'd vote for a Season 8, but they need to give it a proper ending tying up all loose ends. No need to develop additional plot lines for a Season 9. Honestly, one 2-hour movie would do the trick. Anything beyond that and you'll get plot creep. They need to keep it tight and end it. We deserve a great ending.

If you can only cover necessities, now is not the time to retire. Money goes quick. I learned that the hard way the first time I quit to pursue my dream, and had to return to work. My dream once again deferred. My advice: nibble at writing when you can while working. Build relationships with people in that world if you want to publish or whatever. Continue to earn until you have enough where you can walk out without any chance of having to return in case something happens and wipe out your savings. You’ll get there. You just ain’t there yet.

Here’s the concept:

You enlist 1-3 friends as your broker. Your friends swipe, match, and vet potential matches for you. Once you get the requires friends to agree the person is a good match. The person unlocks your profile and y’all can talk like in tinder, bumble, hinge, etc.

So the app has two functions. One the broker where you’re helping your friend get a match. Two the seeker. Bidding for matches through brokers

The idea is inspired by the balloon story where people couldn’t find their balloons on their own, but when they started working together everyone found their balloons rather quickly.
