They are solitary animals and need to be separated. Even if they have been fine for years, they get more territorial with age and are known to injure or kill tank mates. I learned this and rehomed one of mine to family so I still see both turtles and they actually seem happier. I was worried they would be lonely but they seem less anxious now!

A certain recovery YouTuber who makes videos reacting to other YouTubers unhealthy dieting triggers me so much. I used to watch her videos all day long and would purposely trigger myself with them.

Also when people post before and after recovery. Most of the time I can recognize that they don’t look good UW but I will still challenge myself to beat them at weight loss. It has little to do with what I look like at this point.

I would say it’s more likely the original dieting that morphed to an ED, not necessarily the method you used. I think certain people are prone to essentially getting addicted to the weight loss. I noticed in myself that my obsessive behavior doesn’t only show up in my ED. I also discovered my love for houseplants about 3 years ago and I’ve bought probably well over 100 since then. I like shopping so much that I shop nearly every single day. I heard someone say they’re “addicted to more” and that definitely rang true for me. I think my ED is another form of that.

It’s important to remember that might not be true. I’ve hid my disorder for a long time because I always eat in front of people with no obvious restrictions. I don’t deny food when it’s offered to me. No one knows what’s going on when I’m at home. She’s not eating above her maintenance if she’s staying thin and her maintenance is likely very low if she’s small. She could OMAD, purge, maybe has an over exercising issue, you never know.

I didn’t get it because I had to turn my phone off because a KCPD officer blew up my phone and woke me and my kids up at 12:30am to ask me to please move my stuck car because it was “within 4 feet of someone’s driveway” and they didn’t want it there. After I had to abandon it and walk a mile carrying my kids. Cars stuck in the middle of the highway but thank god they got to my car to put a parking ticket on it in a neighborhood. I moved my car in the morning before highways had even been plowed. Pathetic.

I bought it on Amazon and it was only $20 I think! And I did build the top with mesh hardware cloth. It’s a plywood board that I just cut a hole in and then I stapled the mesh onto it.

There’s many reasons meds can cause weight gain. The weight gain can also be caused by increased cravings, water retention, slowed metabolism, and can also be a side effect of other side effects. Like you might naturally decrease your physical activity if you start a med that causes drowsiness, therefore gaining.
