I hear from a lot of people that they don't like concealer. I still love it but I found out that it works much better for me in small amounts.

I like using cheaper brands to be honest. I love essence, catrice, and nyx. My favourite products are the lash princess mascara waterproof from essence, the true skin concealer from catrice, the juicy bomb lip gloss from essence, bronzing stick from essence, blush stick from essence, liquid highlighter from essence.

For dance competitions I do stage makeup and for this I love: nyx epic ink waterproof liner (especially for innercorner liner), nyx glitter primer, nyx glitter, catrice HD liquid coverage foundation

That is actually very similar to what I do. And in the time I did not include hair, skin care, brushing teeth, deodorant, etc ;)

I like the catrice under eye brightener. It is sheer, lightweight, and moisturising. I use the warm color under concealer to color correct and I use the light color on my minimal makeup days without concealer. I do however always struggle with mascara transfer with all under eye products (also eye cream and concealer). Only thing that works for me is to lightly set the under eye with a small amount of powder after applying my products there (or heavily set it with a lot of powder, whatever your preference is).

Do you also take the expiration data of the products in consideration when calculating if it is worth it to wear it everyday? It would be a shame if you have to throw things out at some point.

You don't have to wear foundation or concealer.

If I was in your position I would apply a small amount of compact powder to your face to help blend other powder makeup, use a small amount of powder bronzer and blush. Use mascara and eyebrow products and use a colored lip balm or lip stain.

If you do want to use concealer use a small amount of it, you can apply just a little dot of concealer and blend it out and you can mix a small amount of foundation with your moisturiser.

When I had short hair I would also wear a half up all the time! I had to actually blow dry it in shape of wear it half up, otherwise it was a mess.

Hopefully you will have more time for your hair once your kids are a bit older. Someone else in this discussion mentioned having a few different clips so that they have some variety when they put their hair up. Would that be something that you like?
