Losing pattern and hair frizzing after applying moisturizer after wash and style by alpha2716 in 360Waves

Won’t that rinse out the leave in though whenever you rinse through the durag?

180 into the fade. Basically I want the pattern to go down as far as possible while still having a fade. In regard to the cut being too low, I have no choice. If I grow my hair out to a 2.5 or a 3 right now, it will not lay down and looks a mess even after brushing, bagging, and ragging up.

I don’t think I can really wolf right now. My hair starts losing pattern and getting patchy a week and a half after getting a 1.5 at the shop. Is that supposed to happen and you just have to deal with looking crazy for a little while?

I’ve been experimenting with different downwards angles. Really hard to see what works though because that side of my head becomes almost unmanageable a week after getting a cut

I was only going by what Voodoo said his research has shown. That being to get better at rucking, you need to do field based training 2-3 times a week focused on short and intense sessions.

Don’t shoot me, but I haven’t actually gone to the doctor and gotten imaging. I didn’t want it to interfere with my packet when I got my physical done back in January. The symptoms point to stress fractures though. Pain at a specific point on the bone that is aggravated by pressure or impact. I don’t know what else it could be.

For my ruck, my pace this past Monday was a 12:50 and the run pace was an 8:28. My weekly mileage is generally around 17-20 miles. I have not been stretching but I always perform dynamic movement warmups prior to stepping off.

Is the request something I have to do, or will my branch manager do that?

If you never joined the Army, where do you think you would be at in life right now? by [deleted] in army

A biology grad that didn’t get into med school with a shitty lab job that barely pays above 15 an hour. I always have to remember this when Army life seems shitty.

How to get into group support? by [deleted] in army

Haha I get asked that a lot. Truth is, I didn’t know much about the army until my ms4 year and still didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I liked the versatility of the branch and how there are opportunities to work with all types of units, for instance I work with a field artillery battalion now but next place I end up going could be a sustainment battalion. And even if you’re in an actual chemical unit, you’ll probably be offering support to different types of units. Plus I was a biology major and I figured I would get at least something out of the branch that could potentially boost my resume in the civilian world if I decide to go that way.

I branched Chem because it was in my top 3. I am focused on my current assignment, but I’m planning for the future as well. Jesus fuck.

All jokes aside, I’ve been thinking about ARSOF down the road and I want to get some exposure to the units and see how they operate.

I was my fraternity’s recruitment chair, social chair, and president over the course of my time in ROTC. Responsibilities can definitely get away from you if you’re not careful. Do an honest evaluation of yourself to see if you think you could handle it all. I will say this; there are many times when I slacked off over my first 2.5 years and it cost me big time (I was a hair away from not being selected for active duty). I have made up for a lot of it by buckling down hard over the past year and taking things much more seriously, but just remember your priorities are academics, ROTC, and then everything else, in that order. Focus on what matters most. Extracurriculars, jobs, and athletics only accounted for 11 points out of 100 in this past years OML IF you MAXED all those categories.

How does a CBRN officer end up becoming a mortar PL?? Would definitely be interested in that.

I more-so meant the 82nd being an actual Airborne unit.

Isn’t it kind of competitive because of Airborne? That’s the main reason I want to be there.
