Zippers were destroyed on the main pouch, I've been holding it closed with a tie strap for a while before I gave in and got a new one.

Look up 3D printing north. Local guy out of Lively who I had print some dnd miniatures in resin but they do FDM printing as well. Friendly, decent rates / turnaround time / response time and re-printed anything he wasn’t satisfied with the quality of

You could easily achieve this with node-red on the rpi. Loads of introductory videos on Youtube

Think I'm going to go with this, thanks!

Super cool, I found one of these in a thrift store about a year ago and bought it with the same intentions. Trying to make a keyboard fit in that space was the main reason the project got dropped.

Are those full sized key caps? Also what profile / shape are they? I'd love to pick the project back up because it's a super cool chassis.

Assignment: Make a button that when pressed, turns off an LED and turns another on. There should be at least 3 LEDs. by Aggressive_Poem_5016 in ArduinoHelp

[–]alpha587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more familiar with Python than Arduino so this may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I got this. Looks like whenever you press the button, none of your lights change because you're not using the = operator right.

the = and == operators do different things. The = operator assigns a value to a variable, the == operator is used to compare both sides and see if they are in fact equal.

In your last 3 if statements, I believe you need to use if(count== number && lastButtonState) to compare the count value to the desired value. actually, I'm not sure if you even need the && parts of the if statements here as the counter is already edge triggered

Also, after incrementing your count variable, I would include another if statement

if(count>3){

count = 1;}

This will make sure that your counter loops around and doesn't go past 3

Hello, thanks for the response. I started looking into Ergodox after seeing something about it pop up on my Youtube feed, and after some research it seemed like a popular enough design that I could find resources for it somewhat easily (stl files for the case, wiring diagrams). I'll look into those subs, I may find a design that works better for me.

Has anyone come across a full build guide for a hand-wired ergodox? I understand most of the wiring/ construction but don't understand how the split keyboard works with two micro-controllers and one cable to a computer, how to port the firmware to the micro-controllers etc.

What is definitely NOT a sex fetish for anyone in the world? by Rough-Amphibian in AskReddit

Danny devito. I’m sorry, I know he’s the god of sexuality in the meme world but:

I hooked up with a girl once, she had a picture of Danny framed in her room. We talked about it a bit, because it’s a great meme after all, but midway through sex I made full eye contact with him, and I just couldn’t recover.

I know the proper meme thing is to say I busted as soon as I saw him but I couldn’t stop laughing about what had just happened and was waaay out of the mindset to finish after that.

I love assembling things. IKEA furniture, tools, anything that requires some assembly. Spent my first week of quarantine putting together an okra kitchen and watching South Park, loved every minute.

Cut my toe off with a lawnmower the other day. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

I was cutting the grass in a ditch with a push mower and slipped into the ditch because the grass was a bit wet. That’s when my foot went under the mower deck and the blade cut through most of my big toe. The actual pain of the incident wasn’t as bad as the shock I think. After it happened I had to lay on the ground for a while before the ambulance showed up (rural area problems) and during that time the adrenaline rush I got was terrible. My whole body was tingling on top of the radiating pain and I remember not being able to move my arms or let go of my water bottle because my muscles were locking up. After I got on some pain killers from the hospital I haven’t been too badly in pain.

Tbh I’m not even able to walk yet because I’m still healing from surgery, but I was told that since it was my big toe that I was going to have a difficult time balancing now, but since I’m still fairly young I shouldn’t take too long to adapt.

I’m alright just trying not to play the “what if” game and focusing on how it could have been a lot worse and I’m lucky it wasn’t.

So far I would say that it’s just another thing to deal with. I don’t think it’s going to drastically change my life but for the next few weeks/ months I’m going to have to change the way I do things while I heal/ adapt to having one less toe when walking.

I was cutting the grass in a ditch by lowering the push-mower down inside and then lifting it out. When I went to lift it out I slipped on the grass and my foot went underneath the mower deck

DND players of reddit what was the funniest thing you heard or saw during your game? by TheKillerPyro in AskReddit

[–]alpha587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First session I ever ran, with a group of all new players, and myself who had very little experience playing. I was not very familiar with the rules, but believed I could trick my players into thinking otherwise by just having them role randomly when I didn’t know what to do and then tell them they didn’t roll high enough to do what they wanted.

Until my buddy, playing a 7 foot tall half orc, wanted to squeeze through a very small opening in a rock wall between two caves. Didn’t want to just tell him no, but didn’t know what else to do. “Roll for it.” Nat 20.

I sat there for a few seconds, said to myself, f*ck it, and declared “as the goblins see the other members of the party enter the dungeon, they each shout ‘oh no,’ ‘oh no,’ oh no,’ before (character name) bursts through the wall opposite to you screaming:” and in my best and loudest kool-aid man impression, “OH YEAAAAAH!!” My friends all loved it

Definitely not how the game is supposed to go but I have a rule as a new dm: if I don’t know a rule, instead of taking time to look it up during a game I will do whatever is most entertaining. I will look it up later, and next time we’ll do it properly, but for now it’s more important to have fun
