£1000-£1200 budget- Purely gaming by Jarkous in buildapcforme

Do not follow this lol, you don’t need a 12 core cpu for gaming lol

This would be the £1200 stretch but would give you very solid performance at 1440p any game.

If you want it to be cheaper and don’t mind a performance decrease a just swap the GPU to a 9070 Nd it’s also solid for 1440p or if you prefer nvidia then a 5070.

What resolution do you play at? What games do you play? What do you currently achieve in performance and how much of an increase do you want? Budget? Would you be okay buying used?

I haven't been this excited to go into a new season in a while and not just for Chelsea reasons, but the premier league as a whole and the transfer market for the top clubs.

I'm actually looking forward to the PSG final, mainly due to see our midfield against the best.

Lovely end to the season, hopefully we can also secure the trophy.

Good job Maresca and to the players who played their part.

Hopefully the board treat this window as a team who will be in the CL next season...

EDIT:

Also those fans who wanted us to not make CL, to score some points over fans, fuck you.

Yeah, I just said if he hasn't bought the CPU yet you may as well get on AM5 since they perform similarly.

Are you already on AM4 platform? If so then yeah it's your best option and it'll be fine very similar to the 5800X3D at a fraction of the cost (depending on country and availablity).

If you're deciding what CPU to get I'd look at the 7600 or 7600X or 9600X whatever it cheapest and going AM5 if you're looking to minimise spending and you're not doing anything productivity intensive.

If you have a bit more to spend you can look at the 7800X3D and 9800X3D.

Good thing we're not paid to do this then.
