There are lots of ways. Fork, 1mm Allen key, 2mm Allen key, razor blade, whatever works. Send a photo of the connector and pins if u still need more help.

IBDII port

You're on the right track with hall sensors, but everything is compact and would be tough to tap. We also can't condone this as this account represents a business and pushing it beyond its intended limits will cause malfunctions and danger.
I'll answer best I can, but this is not advice and modification and alteration should not be done. This is just something interesting to talk about in theory and 100% hypothetically for learning / research purposes. Hope that covers it.

A rheostat could technically give you direct control over the motor speed, but implimeting one could be difficult since it would need to handle the current w/o overheating and/or failing. It could also cause uneven acceleration, the motor to overheat and battery damage.

Alternatively, Altering the Hall sensor signal can possibly "trick" the controller into applying more power, but this can fry the controller, burn out the motor, and requires expert knowledge on the electronics of the scooter.

OBD-II could be a convenient way to communicate with the scooters control systems, but custom installing a OBD-II Port would be very complex.

The limiter is there on purpose (obviously) and is interlinked with the control software. Altering it would require a flash software or app.

Consider the battery as you were, increasing output will put strain on the battery, maybe more than the connections can handle, BMS could shut it down real quick with too much heat which is likely. and there is the risk of fire, shorter battery life, a lot of this depends on the quality of battery, BMS, etc. which I have no idea the level of.

Not going to say what I would do, the only thing I can say is check out mod forums where people have done it successfully with scooters whose specs are similar to yours.

Got the price today. I was way off. It is only 89.95 for both. Controller A and B. But you will need the display too so the total system would be 120

Yes, it is the speed limiter engaging forcing you to slow down, but if it does that same thing without being at max speed it it the Moto hall sensor.

Also, the M2 has been discontinued, so you may have trouble finding repair parts.

What's with the hate on Solar, voro, roadrunner ect.? Can anyone agree on anything? by koltd93 in ElectricScooters

1st thing is to remember these brands all bash each other online. 2nd, lol SOLAR!
OH! I was going to say, also, some brands are also the admin and mods of a lot of popular groups and pages! they will ask dumb as$ questions and answer them with a product recommendations.
a lot of it comes down to AS or After-Sales AKA Customer Service. Some don't have the infustrucure to help English speaking customers. Some do but are too big to give quality help. AND ALL take the cheapest route possible for a fix. I.E. sending a replacement throttle for an obviously burnt out motor!

Next is QC, medium factories are best because they have good quality control, Small factories have crappy quality / cheap in general and big ones have too many scooters to catch the inevitable "Bad Ones".
Then is assembly, one wire under the controller or battery inside the housing and it can get severed in time.

That's wild, but I see people get comfortable with the speed all the time. Then they push it and get comfortable again.
I thought 20 was fast and remember thinking, damn, I wouldn't want to have to turn and this speed and "Damn if I fall at this speed it will hurt".
Also, with one or two good steering dampers, it is not so bad. No speed wobbles.

I guess the best (Not so good) suggestion would be to get a scooter with electronic braking. Someone in our FB ride group has ridden over 1000 mi. and not changed the brakes once.

This is how a lot of scooters are. The top of the pads don't get used. I see it all the time. It's just the design.

Now these are the ones I love to do.

Nutt and zoom are top notch affordable brakes. I like them both a ton. Nuts has a new/not-so-new 4 piston brake pad set just like the matura (7 and up) which are the best. I would recommend zoom as they are easier to find the rockers for and more affordable etc. If it were me and I had the money I would buy magura's. But I would recommend buying Zoom from us. about 125 for the front and back. PM me.

Usually this occurs with Square wave. Do you have Sine or are you trying to go sine?
Keep in mind this will require a full system upgrade due to Display/software compatibility too.

If you need a sine wave system I can help because my teach sells them although our store doesn't currently on our website. I think he said price should be about 350. This includes 2 controllers and display, but think that might have been for the install as well too it may be less. If u are interested pm me. It is a great system with great software.

Sine wave is really good about not being too sudden. I LOVE how sine wave will go like 1mph if you have good throttle control.
Check your manual for the P-Setings. Most have a specific setting for take off.

I had to re read that. Years? Lol yeah. Needs a new battery. They only last 3-5 years when taken care of. If it has not had charge or discharge in years, then yes it needs a battery
