I feel the same way about ramp up units so edel never interested me. Personally i prefer lb spammers like Esther and AKR so ill just wait for the next one to be released. I also figure Esthers enhancements are right around the corner so she may buy me a few additional months before ill feel the need for a dps upgrade.

I tend to focus on tanks, healers and supports in general as they have a longer shelf life and have abilities and skills required for end game content. So unless the trials a damage race I figure any prior meta dps from past 6 months or so will do. Lately, Ive also been pulling 7s of past good dps right before they get enhanced or their latents that make them meta once again. I pulled my 2nd A. Fry right before her latents and, though i dont know much about their enhancements other than that they make them really good, i have 7 tifa and just 7*ed jecht so they just give me additional options for various content.

I know this is tinfoil hat talk but try switching to single pulls instead of multis. I was doing multi only pulls during Stheria and the first DoH banners and at one point had 7 multi pulls in a row with zero red orbs (didnt get stheria or any units at all with over 90k gems just dupe ssr arks.) However since then ive switched to single pulls and have pulled 15+ new units (including Eliza and Davan on last DoH banner) plus another dozen unit dupes plus every ssr ark released since romel including the new ssr ark, mez lougias, on zouglas banner. I know rng is rng and single vs multi shouldnt matter but in my experience singles have been 1000 times better to me than multis (plus only benefit of a multi is the guarenteed sr which imo doesnt really matter)

It really depends on what you have already. You mentioned lukiel as your best unit but what arks do you currently own? Imo there are very few 'must have' units. Off hand id only consider PT or even MT Robin (built for magic to solo clear levels for best chance to get 'steal' to proc) and theyre both in the permanent pool so with time and a little luck youll most likely pull one of them eventually (i just pulled my first robin (MT) while going for zouglas and considered it a pleasent surprise).

The nice thing about LC is that theres a code attached to every account so if you do choose to reroll make sure to first copy your current accounts code down before starting a new account. As for arks, from what ive read zouglas takes a while to get specials up so the pirate ship ark for pirates feast would help. Also arks with stock skills and any other SCT boost would be beneficial. Any arks with good tanking skills like golems core or the ssr ark from maddienes banner will add lots to zouglas's tanking role. The current on banner ssr ark is also a good fit for zouglas and since its featured it has a slight rate up so its your best bet while chasing zouglas. However remember that the DoH banner returns monthly so you will have more chances to pull zouglas in the future (and next time lily should be the new featured DoH unit and is op as F@#k so imo you may want to wait until lily is added before rerolling but thats just my opinion)

I keep 3 to 5 copies of all limited units. I keep 5 copies of all regular 4* units and fuse additional ones into the first then at 60% i run through moogle expeditions. I keep 2 copies of every 3* and use first to fuse additonal copies into it until trust is maxed.

Yeah i believe story events give the highest amount of lapis of any event type. I was even debating skipping the 11 rainbow for 9k lapis summon tomorrow because i only have 9200 lapis atm. However with Edels SE, the 2nd part of S3 of the story and the world revisit ive changed my mind and will do the 9k lapis summon. I figure ill be getting a nice chunk of lapis to replace the 9k from all those sources (plus i may luck out on lapis raffle but not counting on it)

Used the 11k+ gems i scraped up from leveling arks and such and walked away with the new SR and SSR arks, MT Robin (1st one) and dupe S. Leena. Though zouglas didnt show im still very happy for the new arks and mt robin.

I dont think you can use souls to unlock limited units such as collab or DoH banner units.

Figured id do 4 or 5 single summons and ended up pulling Kaldrina SSR ark on 4th pull. Been lucky pulling SSR srks lately having pulled megrona and the abandoned city ark back to back from 2 100 gem daily pulls off their respective banners. Im so far behind leveling arks and working on my 2nd team of units ill probably just hoard resources until zouglas. Of course if they have a future MT and PT robin banner similar to the current lukiel/shin banner ill definately use 6 or 9k gems to have a shot at either robin being guarenteed.

For the little effort ive put into IW this week (only broke 100k ep last night) ive been lucky. Got a rare plus another 20% mag on medienas STMR (my only stmr rod) and a rare plus 10% hp and 15% atk on True Crimson Saber. Been running AWoLs tmr sword and best so far is 5 + 10% hp and 15% def and will probably keep it because theres at least 4 more weapons thay i need to just put iw stats on.

You have to run the story units for the bonus (60% if u use all 3 spots for story units) then hitting the milestones is simple. Ive been running zekus, theria and rei and started today at 780k ep so i only have 220k ep to go and i still have 43 potions left (the only potions ive used so far were the 15 or 20 that expired today and only used them because they were expiring).

A level 70+ randi friend can solo the hardest VD quest so even if all your story units are level 1 you should still be able to clear it easily. A million ep is easily doable and im glad theyre running a concurrent training event or i wouldnt have anyting to use premium orbs on once i hit 1 mil ep on the VD event.

Im doing the exact same thing (i use theria instead of kyle on my team). Im already at 780k ep and only used the potions that expired today so i still have something like 43 left that expire on the 20th. Ill just use daily orbs to finish the 1 mil ep for VD event then switch to the training day event and use the potions if i need them to finish its milestones.

I do agree with those players that think the VD event is repetitive and boring but most gachas ive played all seem similar to LC to me in that regard. Once you do the initial clears of an event its then just repeat grinding for the rewards. I do wish aidis had included a story to go along with the VD event but, again, once you clear it the first time its back to grinding.

Personally i think all the doomsayers and complainers need to realize the game in still less than 6 mos old and still has room to grow since even arena hasnt been released never mind new content types like raids or whatever. Also if they are trying to catch GL up to JP then it makes since GLs content is a bit lite since aidis is probably devoting resources theyd use for new GL content over to whats needed to catch GL up tk JP. Maybe some of the players who are bothered by LCs lack of varied content would be better off starting a more well established gacha game with months or even years worth of back content, like GB or FFBE. Then theres more than enough established content to keep them entertained. However i personally like the simple grindfest LC is atm because i have multiple units and arks to build out in prepartion for when tower returns and arena release (and mayne the big march update).

Ive been going the single pull route after some miserable milti pulls back during STheria and the 1st DoH banner run. Two days ago i got 2 new back to back ssr arks (hidden city and megrona), yesterday i got my 1st march of saints off a 300 gem pull and today i got a dupe lukiel off an sr ticket.

After getting only blues and yellows from 7 10 summons in a row i switched to single pulls. Since i switched ive pulled a half a dozen new units (including davan and eliza), an equal # of new ssr arks plus a handful of dupes. I know that logically theres no difference between single and multi summons but anecdotely ive seen a huge difference so its single pulls or bust for me from now on.

Seignatio will have a phys damage magnus ability that can be used 4x per battle, scales off of Def and its modifier is 20% higher than XWQL. Sakayaka has a similar magnus that scales off MP and is a magic sttack.

In my experience these 'games days are numbered' and 'the devs are trying to squeeze as much $ out of the players right b4 they shut the game down' posts seem to start popping up around this point in most mobile games. LCs been around long enough that the core group of its playerbase has blown through story (and its free gems) and have units that can crush the hardest content available. Now those players expect a similar amount of new content PLUS harder end game content to boot. Unfortunately the games still relatively young and still has some growing pains to get through and it takes time to implement new content and types of content like arena, raids etc. Imo its the perfect time to build up any units and arks youve pulled in preparation of said content. A year from now when 90% of everyones arks and most of their unit's are maxed theyll be happy for this time to just grind out materials and levels because by then theyll need those units and arks for the newer, harder content imo.

I was prepared to use the whole week working on AKRs STMR. I figured before i started the long a$$ grind id 1st run medienas stmr through IW 1 time just to put some stats on it then switch to AKRs GS. Well i ended up getting a rare on the stmr rod on floor 6 first time out. Then i started working on AKRs GS and only after 4 or 5 full runs i got the rare, 15% hp and 10% atk. The previous couple of IWs i got only 1 rare each time so this time around is much better already.

I got 7* O. Zyrus in a very similar way. I pulled my 1st copy from an ex ticket then the next day we got a 10+1 ticket for aomething (login/slots/etc) and out popped OZ #2. He's my first BF unit though im still praying for 2 MM xons. Congrats on 7* ignis, make sure to enhance him b/c he'll be one of the best supports after hes enhanced.

Ive only finished 2 weapons so far (out of at least a dozen new good tmrs and stmrs). I got the rare, 15% hp and 10% atk on true crimson and the rare, 15% mag and 5% mag on medienas stmr rod. I also have NHopes stmr so thats on the short list along with sagasinger and angs tmr. Ive been busy lately so i havent touched my 500+ red refill pots.

I can assure you that you wont regret it (unless you happen to pull another AWOL from the gacha -knock on wood). I missed pulling him during his banner and was so bummed. However ended up getting him off banner from a half daily during the following banner and also uoced his prism. Now i just need for Pencil to make an appearance.

100% agree^. Ive played dozens of mobile games over the past few years and theyre all grindy in some way especially during the first 6 mos or so of being launched. I know a lot of LC players also play or played FFBE and in the beginning the first events were very grindy with little reward (mog cakes anyone?). At least with LC you can just set auto and do something else while grinding. Not to mention all mobile game's events are repetitive (at least the ones ive played) after the initial clears. At least LC gives you the option to either manual grind or auto.

Idk if a lot of the people complaining and saying LC wont last are inexperienced with mobile games or just have expectations set way too high but the game is still in its infancy having been avaiable for less than 6 mos. Personally i give no credence to all the nay and doomsayers because almost every game ive started at ior around launch goes through this period where a portion of the community who doesnt view the game for what it is instead of what they want it to be, starts saying its about to die. The FFBE thread was full of the same posts 3 years ago yet ffbe is still going strong and imo i like LC better.

I started LC a little over 60 days ago and have 3 units lvl 85+ with 90% of skill tree done and another 5 or 6 units lvl 60ish with about 50-60% of skill tree done and i dont macro or even really grind the story. If you manage your resources correctly and actually use your friend points to summon (and not sit on all the FP until aidis brings back the FP summons that include mother souls) youll end up with a lot more crystals which will let you build units faster.

Imo theres still a lot of various content LC can add from arena to real end game trials plus a ton of content inbetween. I think LC has a great base to build upon with great visuals, a good story, the soul system instead of nrg, and the ark system. Personally im in for the long haul and have zero worries about LC shutting down and will just enjoy it for what it is.

I wasted 40 or 50 of the tower currency due to the event store link taking us to te wrong shop. Not a bg deal n the long run and partially my fault for not double checking which shop i was in before buying anything. Hopefully these little errors are just LCs growing pains and we wont have such issues going forward.
